Warning! This List Contains Major Spoilers For The Season Finale of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law!She-Hulk: Attorney at Law concluded Jennifer Walter's first adventure as the titular superhero with a meta-filled finale that blew many fans' minds, a smashed fourth wall, and several exciting future projects being set up. While there is no official word on a season two, hope is high for more She-Hulk, especially with how things ended for Jennifer and her closest companions.

Despite being punched with some mixed reviews, She-Hulk became quite popular among devoted and casual fans alike due to its light tone, meta-humor, and compelling narrative. As always, after watching the finale, eager fans took to Twitter to share their reactions, giving their thoughts on everything from the reality-shaking fourth-wall break, the special appearances of Matt Murdock, and the return Bruce with his son, Skaar.

Break More Rules!

The finale had a high bar to cross for many fans. Whether because they’ve celebrated previous finales such as Loki, or they’ve found them lacking, She-Hulk was facing an uphill battle. Thankfully, it was able to overcome that hurdle and stick the landing. It’s a great time for MCU fans with this and the recent Halloween Special, Werewolf by Night, which also garnered plenty of excited reactions on Twitter.

As this tweet expresses, this finale does what the show’s done best – take the classic MCU formula and put it in a blender. While it could come out decimated and deformed, She-Hulk is rather able to dissect each component, shedding new light on the universe, franchise, and fanbase as wholes. Meanwhile, it did all this with a strong foundation from similar storylines in the comics and a playful production team willing to make fun of themselves.

Deadpool, Eat Your Heart Out

The episode begins and plays out as many fans had expected and theorized in She-Hulk. From Abomination still being a bit devious – although not outright villainous – and HulkKing turning out to be Tony Stark wannabe, Todd, it seemed like it was going par for the course. Thankfully, Jen didn’t like that and decided to take matters into her own hands, giving audiences the most extensive fourth wall break yet.

Other fans noted that Deadpool’s got some strong competition now, so perhaps she could show up again in Deadpool 3 alongside Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. Having the two fourth-wall-breaking heroes interact is a golden opportunity that the MCU shouldn’t pass up. It is interesting to think about how this ability will evolve throughout her journey, especially when she is no longer in her own show.

Something For Everyone

The finale was jam-packed with all the special appearances, yet how they handled it was quite clever to alleviate any misgivings. As each new character smashes their way into the lodge and the Intelligencia meeting, it could become overwhelming and be just the classic CGI battle that’s plagued the MCU. However, having Jen rewrite the plot to her liking and to fit with her narrative makes it more than just an Avengers: Endgame-style cameo-fest as some fans desire.

Regardless, it’s quite remarkable how much was fit into such a short episode. It’s exciting to think of if any of these characters will be seen together and when. That said, many fans were still hoping for a few other characters to pop up like Madisynn or Donny Blaze.

K.E.V.I.N.

The biggest twist in the finale, of course, came when She-Hulk when traveled to the “real world.” Not only did she converse with the actual writers, including the show's creator Jessica Gao, but she beat back security officials to meet with Kevin. However, this wasn’t the Kevin Feige fans were familiar with, but his robotic counterpart KEVIN.

KEVIN stands for Knowledge Enhance Visual Interconnectivity Nexus, and it’s the artificial intelligence overlord of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Visor and all, KEVIN is a funny way to poke fun at Kevin Feige, without whom none of this universe would be where it is. Of course, Kevin’s in on the joke, which just makes it all the better.

Black Panther's Next

Naturally, KEVIN nor anyone at Marvel Studios would pass up the opportunity to promote the next project in the MCU. In this case, it’s the highly-anticipated, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and during the moment when KEVIN asks She-Hulk to transform off-screen, savvy ears could hear the Wakandan theme from Black Panther.

Not only is this a subtle way to tease the next big thing, but it pokes fun at the franchise and fandom. Many have been critical of the visual effects and CGI throughout She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, while others have wanted more time with Jenn as She-Hulk. In both cases, this moment acknowledges the writers and producer’s awareness of these issues permeating throughout the franchise.

Get It Jen!

While She-Hulk was classified as a legal comedy, there was an unexpected and welcome romantic comedy element to it. That’s one of the many movie genres fans would love to see in the MCU, and there might not be a better candidate for such a story than Jennifer Walters and her new “friend” Matt Murdock. Regardless, their relationship could mean that she’ll also return for an episode or two in Daredevil: Born Again.

This quote from Jen has certainly made the rounds on Twitter, and it serves as a great example of the tone the MCU can take on these topics. Eternals featured the first sex scene in the MCU, and She-Hulk has also played with boundaries, while also showcasing serious moments like her sex tape. Thankfully, though, she still got the humor to joke about nearly anything.

The Devil In The Daylight

When the first trailer for She-Hulk was released, there was no shortage of excited responses, thanks predominately to the return of Charlie Cox in costume as Daredevil. This was instantly met, however, with negativity, with some fans lamenting that he’d be included in something with a lighter tone – somehow forgetting the various times he’s worked with She-Hulk in the comics and his history as a comedic character.

While he’s mostly seen as Daredevil at night, he looked just as good in the daylight. He shouldn’t just be this one-noted character surrounded by darkness and violence. For him to be a balanced and compelling mainstay in the MCU, there needs to be some levity to him, and She-Hulk was the perfect place to show that side of him.

Papa Hulk

For a long while, there wasn’t much hope for a sequel to The Incredible Hulk, but following She-Hulk, it seems practically guaranteed now. Fans were suspecting a World War Hulk might be coming when Hulk traveled back to Sakaar earlier in the season. That could be a great opportunity to introduce some other gamma mutates into the MCU, but as many theorized, a new one has just arrived – Skaar, Hulk’s son.

This is a monumental moment for Hulk as a character – also making him the fourth original Avenger to have a kid – and it plays with the theme of introducing young proteges and teen heroes. Skaar could very well join Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan, and others like Hulkling, who will hopefully be introduced in Secret Invasion, as a member of the Young Avengers in their own film or tv show.

Family!

Several fans noted the ending was similar to a Fast and Furious film with the whole family gathering — Matt Murdock included. This is another fun way to poke fun at a fellow MCU actor, Vin Diesel. It’s important to note, though, that there have been several of these family scenes throughout the series, although the parallels are quite explicit.

Another thing worth noting is how the family is instantly welcoming to Skaar seemingly with no hesitations. Of course, they must be used to it by now with two Hulks in the family, but they might have their hands full with Skaar, who really takes after his father and can be quite destructive. Hopefully, the wait isn’t much longer to learn when fans could expect to see this play out.

Phase Wong

It wouldn’t be the MCU if they didn’t end with a post-credits scene, and it wouldn’t be Phase Four if Wong was involved. Despite being a relatively minor character at his introduction in Doctor Strange, as the new Sorcerer Supreme, Wong has become one of the most prolific heroes in the Phase. As such, he’s due for his own TV show, or better yet a Halloween special of his own like Werewolf by Night.

Interestingly, he is inviting Abomination to live and possibly train at Kamar-Taj, and at this point, there are no confirmed plans to follow them. Perhaps that’ll mean that Wong could play a role in the teased Hulk movie or Abomination and the other Hulks could possibly feature in a Wong show or Doctor Strange 3.
