The grand finale to She Could Fly from Dark Horse Comics is coming soon, as the publisher now confirms She Could Fly: Fight or Flight from Christopher Cantwell, Martin Morazzo, and Miroslav Mvra will arrive in comic book stores in October. The series, which follows a young woman named Luna who becomes obsessed with a flying woman as she struggles with mental illness, will end with its third arc.

She Could Fly comes from the Dark Horse Comics imprint Berger Books, which is led by legendary comic editor Karen Berger. The creator-owned line has released some incredible comics, including Ruby Falls by Ann Nocenti (Daredevil) and Flavia Biondi, the Eisner Award-winning Invisible Kingdom from G. Willow Wilson (Ms. Marvel) and Christian Ward (Black Bolt), as well as the Hungry Ghosts from the late Anthony Bourdain and artist Joel Rose (Get Jiro!). Cantwell, who currently writes Iron Man for Marvel Comics and will pen the upcoming Blue Flame at Vault Comics, has also written Everything for Berger Books alongside I.N.J. Culbard (At the Mountains of Madness).

Screen Rant is proud to reveal the final chapter of the She Could Fly series, She Could Fly: Fight of Flight. The series is a direct sequel to the comic's second story arc, She Could Fly: Lost Pilots, which ended with Luna undergoing brain surgery to deal with some of her own mental imbalances. However, after the previous Flying Woman killed herself in an accident, a new villain will emerge. According to solicits, the flying villain is set on wreaking havoc in her life and town, forcing Luna to attempt to fly herself.

She COuld Fly Sequel

It appears things are about to get more challenging for Luna despite her recent surgery, as Dark Horse teases the series will have a battle that "will all take place above the city skyline..." Berger said Luna will finally get to fly in a final chapter that "totally captured" her heart.

Luna finally gets to fly, and we fly with her in this storytelling tour-de-force from Christopher, Martin and Mirsolav, said Karen Berger. It’s an emotional and thrilling finale that totally captured my heart.

The first two arcs of She Could Fly featured razor-sharp writing from Cantwell and incredible visuals from Morazzo and Mvra, so, to see the book get a final chapter is not only well-deserved but exciting. The book's examination of mental health was incredibly well-done with Luna being a flawed, deeply compelling character whose story you didn't want to end.

She Could Fly: Fight or Flightpublished by Dark Horse Comics will be collected in a single trade paperback which will be in comics stores on October, 6, while it will come to book stores on October, 19.
