Fury of the Gods will also be the last film before the DC Universe gets reset by The Flash movie. Whether or not Shazam! 3 will happen remains to be seen for the time being. With Shazam! Fury of the Gods only being a few days away, Warner Bros. is still rolling out new glimpses of the DC movie. A previous promo hinted that a certain Justice League hero would be showing up in this film in some capacity.

However, one surprise has now already been revealed ahead of Shazam! Fury of the Gods' release. In a new TV spot (via @Hek_th0r,) Gadot's Wonder Woman makes an appearance in the footage, confirming her presence in the film.

While Wonder Woman 3 was initially greenlit after Wonder Woman 1984, the studio scrapped it in 2022. With the sequel not fitting into the current DC Studios plans, Gadot's time as Wonder Woman has yet to be decided. There is a possibility that Gadot may take part of the DC Universe. Gunn has indicated that Diana will be a huge part of the DC Universe, but where exactly remains to be seen.

Even though a Wonder Woman movie wasn't revealed in January, a different project tied to her lore was announced instead. HBO Max is currently developing a Paradise Lost TV show, which will be a Wonder Woman prequel story. In the style of Game of Thrones, it centers on Themyscira's origin before Diana's birth. According to Gunn and Safran, Paradise Lost explores how the political game on Themyscira.

At this point, Paradise Lost doesn't have a targeted release date for HBO Max as it doesn't have a set creative team. However, given Wonder Woman's major significance in the DC lore, the show is likely one of the top priorities for DC Studios. Hopefully, as DC Studios get further into their DC Universe plans, it won't be long until more Wonder Woman plans are announced especially after Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
