Screen Rant's exclusive Shark vs. Surfer clip brings viewers to Marjorie's Sunset Surf where Professor Stephen Kajiura explains just how sharp shark jaws really are and how a sunset surf provides the perfect setting for a shark to confuse a human for something else on the surface.

Nat Geo's Shark vs. Surfer Synopsis

As the number of shark attacks worldwide rises, surfers are taking the brunt of the bite. Shark vs. Surfer visits shark-infested surf spots around the world to relive some of the most harrowing shark and surfer stories through unbelievable, caught-on-camera encounters and interviews with the victims. With insight from marine biologists Ryan Johnson and Dr. Stephen Kajiura, the special aims to answer once and for all: Are we really in danger?

Dr Stephen Kajiura is a Professor at Florida Atlantic University's Department of Biological Sciences where his work focuses on the sensory biology of sharks, specifically the blacktip sharks that gather every year in Florida. Kajirua has made numerous TV appearances to help share learnings and his expertise on sharks. He earned a PhD in Zoology at University of Hawaii, and also studied at the Florida Institute of Technology (MS in Marine Biology) and my own local University of Guelph (BSc in Marine Biology) here in Canada!
