Mike Shouhed and Paulina Ben-Cohen's relationship has blossomed during their run as a couple on Shahs of Sunset. Both Mike and Paulina came out of disintegrated marriages and found refuge in their new love. Mike entered Shahs of Sunset looking for a new relationship. On the first season of the reality series, it appeared Mike and Shahs co-star Golnesa "GG" Ghararchedaghi were interested in pursuing a relationship. Ultimately, nothing came of the two's flirtation. In season two of Shahs of Sunset, however, Mike met Jessica Parido, the daughter of a Fiji Water executive. The couple went on to date and were engaged by 2014. In 2015, Jessica and Mike were married, but their vows did not hold out for long. Jessica accused Mike of cheating, and the reality star marriage only lasted about eight months. In 2017, the divorce between Mike and Jessica was complete.
Although Mike's current girlfriend, Paulina, is private about her personal life outside of Shahs of Sunset, a handful of details about her relationship with her ex-husband are available to nosy fans. One thing fans know for certain is that Paulina's ex-husband, Tal Bahari, is as rich as the wealthiest Shahs in LA, such as MJ Javid and Reza Farahan. Tal amassed millions as an entrepreneur involved in several business ventures, including acting as the CFO of his brother, Fred Bahari's, apparel company Cavalini, Inc. Paulina and Tal have two children who are 7 and 5 years old. According to real estate records, Paulina and Tal bought a home for $1,900,000 in 2014 (via Block Shopper). Unfortunately, their marriage did not last long after that. The impetus for the wealthy couple's split has not been shared, but court documents reveal Tal was the partner to file divorce from Paulina. The couple's divorce was finalized in August 2018.
Mike's relationship with Paulina began shortly before her divorce from Tal was finalized. The two found common ground in each other's unsuccessful marriages, like co-star Lilly Ghalichi, who was seen kissing her estranged husband. In season eight, Paulina joined Shahs of Sunset and shared her burgeoning love life with Mike. Season nine took a dramatic turn for the couple, however. Mike fell into his old habits and was exposed for being unfaithful to Paulina. Although Mike initially denied the claims that he cheated on Paulina, he owned up to his wrongdoing during a May 2021 interview with E! News. Mike explained that the affair took place during COVID-19 and "just being bored allow me to do things I shouldn't have done."
Fortunately, the couple has never been stronger. They just announced they have moved in together despite the relationship-threatening revelation.
