With news of the revival, Sex and the City fans are excited and curious to see what is in store. The original series is famous for its Manhattan setting, the fabulous cocktails that the main characters enjoyed, and of course, Carrie Bradshaw's outfits. When people think about the show's six seasons, they also picture Carrie and Big's on-again, off-again relationship and the friendships that the women shared.

Fans have some story ideas for the revival, but before And Just Like That premieres, it's fun to think about some of the most memorable moments that prove why SATC is such a beloved series.

When Miranda And Carrie Got Honest And Real In The Thrift Store

Miranda and Carrie discussing Big

In the third season episode "Cock-a-Doodle-Do!” Carrie told Miranda that she couldn't attend an event with her because Big wanted to get together "and talk."

Miranda got upset and said, "I'm not holding your hand through this again" and the two argued about the state of Big and Carrie's relationship. This was not only a scene that Sex and the City fans will never forget but an important one, since being best friends with someone means telling them the truth, even when it's going to hurt their feelings. Miranda knew that Big was messing with Carrie's heart, and Carrie went in for the jugular when she told Miranda that she was "judgmental" and bailed on Steve.

When Charlotte Loved Her "Rabbit"

Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) at a formal party in Sex and the City

Charlotte had a variety of dates on the show and in the season 1 episode "The Turtle and the Hare," she wondered if she could stop dating and just use a vibrator called "the Rabbit."

It was hard to forget when Samantha told Charlotte about this and she actually was open to using it. Prim and proper Charlotte told Miranda that she didn't want to give up her dating life, and fans will always remember the scene when Charlotte gave Miranda the vibrator to put in her bag.

When Big Found Carrie In Paris

Mr. Big and Carrie embrace outside in Sex and the City.

There were some problems with Carrie and Big's romance, and fans were often torn on how to feel about this major couple on the popular series. Still, it was hard not to swoon when they shared a romantic moment in Paris in the series finale.

It was wonderful seeing Big finally realize that Carrie was his person, and he told her "you're the one." This isn't a scene that fans could ever forget since she had been waiting so long to hear this from him.

When Berger Dumped Carrie Via Post-It Note

The season 6 episode "The Post-It Always Sticks Twice" featured a memorable scene: Jack Berger dumping Carrie with a Post-it note.

This was definitely the opposite of the romantic Post-it note wedding between Derek and Meredith on Grey's Anatomy. Instead of making fans swoon, this made everyone angry, as it was such an immature way to end a relationship. Sex and the City often hit all the right notes about the most frustrating parts of dating.

When Miranda Worried About Dying Alone

In the season 2 episode "Four Women and a Funeral," Miranda bought her own place, and while this was a big moment in her life, she started worrying about being single for the rest of her life.

In a memorable scene, Miranda was eating at home alone and she started choking. She totally freaked out and phoned Carrie, convinced that she was going to die alone. Miranda often suffered because of her intelligence, and it was tough to watch her struggle with her solo life.

When Carrie Broke Up With Big In The Season 1 Finale

There are many classic SATC episodes about Carrie and Big, and while some are romantic, others show the struggles that these two have always had.

Carrie and Big were dealing with some major problems in the season 1 finale "Oh Come All Ye Faithful." The scene of Carrie trying to get Big to say that she was his girlfriend (and his only girlfriend) will always live rent free in every fan's head. True to form, he couldn't commit, so she broke up with him.

When Carrie Hated Her Magazine Cover

Season 2's "They Shoot Single People, Don't They?" featured a hungover Carrie posing for the cover of a magazine. Carrie wasn't pleased with how it came out, as she had dark circles under her eyes and the cover asked the question, "Single and fabulous?" — when she was under the impression it would read, "Single and fabulous!"

Fans will never forget this scene. Not everyone gets the chance to pose for a magazine cover, but everyone has had the awkward experience of expectations not meeting reality. Exclamation point!

When Samantha Learned She Had Cancer

In season 6, Samantha got some awful news in "The Ick Factor": she had breast cancer.

Samantha won't appear in the revival, but the character was a huge part of the original series, and she was famous and adored for her love of sex. It was devastating and heartbreaking to see Samantha get sick, and it was definitely unexpected as her storylines were usually more upbeat.

When Carrie And Her Friends Went To A Baby Shower

It's great when a friend group is all at the same life stage, but when some people are getting married and having kids while others are choosing the single life, it can get awkward.

That's why it was such an important storyline when Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda, and Samantha went to a baby shower in the first season. When Carrie realized that she was very different from her old friend who was about to be a mom, she had a lot of thoughts and feelings, and this was a memorable scene for sure.

When Carrie Fell On The Runway

Besides Carrie's famous voiceover, this character is most famous for her love of fashion, and walking in a runway show became a disaster in one particularly famous scene.

The season 4 episode "The Real Me" featured a scene that every fan of Sex and the City will always remember: Carrie falling while walking down the runway. She had trouble walking in her super high heels, and she laughed and tried to make the best of it, but it was definitely embarrassing.
