Out of all the characters on all the TV shows that have ever existed, there is one who may be more fashionable than all the rest: Carrie Bradshaw. She loves shopping, people come to her for advice on clothes, and she is never afraid to take risks with her looks. Therefore, she has given the world some very memorable outfits over the years.
And while it was hard to narrow down her best, it has been done; we went through all the dates and parties and events and weddings and decided that the ones that are listed out below are Carrie’s most stylish moments ever.
Pearls On Pearls
In this very iconic photograph, Carrie is serving up Breakfast at Tiffany’s vibes. Her hair is up in the perfect topknot. She is looking pretty in pink. And there are layers and layers of pearl necklaces!
In fact, there are a couple of other necklaces incorporated into this outfit, as well, but the pearls are the main attraction; she got inspired by Audrey Hepburn, and she gave it the Carrie twist, for even more fun drama.
LBD
A little black dress belongs in every closet, and everyone remembers Carrie's. Well, she definitely had more than one, but this is the most famous and the one that is plastered around the internet and the one that ends up on best-dressed lists, still!
It is pretty basic, with a simple cut, shape and style. It fit her like a glove, though, and it is just so Carrie: effortless chic and very New York and so gorgeous.
The Perfect Dress For A Writer
As a writer, this is the perfect dress for this character; it looks like an actual newspaper! Even without that unique print, it would be a great dress, as the top is nice and fitted and the bottom has a festive handkerchief style.
But the headlines, photographs and typed words make this a one-of-a-kind clothing item that stands out to fans, even after all of these years. While not everyone could pull it off, Carrie sure did.
Crop Tops
On several occasions, Carrie rocked a crop top, and four of the most notable ones can be seen here. There was the black long-sleeved one with a fanny pack. There was the black one with the A-line skirt. There was the snakeskin tube top with the cowboy hat. And, of course, there was the pink button-down shirt with the belt around her bare waist.
Crop tops are back in style again, and while many have tried to recreate these memorable moments, she just can’t be touched!
Turbans
Something else that has been seen on Carrie a few different times would be a turban. For instance, she wore a sparkly one with a fur coat on New Year's. She wore a pink one with a long and flowy pink dress once, along with this statement coat.
The most well-known instance, however, was probably on Sex and the City 2, when the ladies went to Abu Dhabi; Carrie paired one with a different long and flowy pink dress and looked exceptionally exotic and elegant.

The first film also brought about a legendary outfit: Carrie’s Vivienne Westwood wedding dress. The top was unique, the bottom was full, and the veil was perfect. Carrie, of course, added in a fun detail and a pop of color, with that headpiece.

Green Gown
A different gown Carrie owned was perhaps even more amazing and attractive. Once, while with Aleksandr Petrovsky, she showed off this green gown. Talk about volume and texture! This skirt is on a whole different level, with layers of ruffles that make her look like the most fashionable cloud ever.
The top, on the other hand, is soft and delicate, with sheerness and sparkles. This is a show-stopping piece that certainly belongs on this list.
Her Tux
Now, in the number-three spot, there is another wedding ensemble; when Stanford and Anthony tied the knot, Carrie opted for a suit. There were sleek black pants, a fitted black jacket, a white button-down shirt and a bow tie.
Her hair was crimped and full curled and full of volume. And on her head, she wore this bedazzled spiky crown that everyone wanted and that completed this look in the best way ever.
Dior
In second place, this original and adorable and unforgettable look stands. Here, Carrie is wearing a Dior jersey-style top. She is also wearing a full purple skirt that sort of gives off prom vibes. But when these two clothing items came together on this character, one of the most stylish moments of all time was created!
Does every fan love this outfit? No. Would a normal person be able to get away with it? Probably not. But this is Carrie Bradshaw… at her best.
The Tutu
The best of the best, when it comes to this character’s fashion, is the tutu. She wears it in the opening credits, making it a very known, popular and beloved look.
