Imagine if the Sorting Hat were to be placed upon these lovely heads. Which houses would these main characters end up in, based on their interests, dislikes, strengths, weaknesses and personality traits? Which character is the most cunning and dramatic, like a Slytherin? The most kind-hearted and true, like a Gryffindor? Find out down below, as some predictions have been made for 10 different people that are featured in this popular television series.

Carrie Bradshaw - Gryffindor

Carrie Bradshaw Chaotic Good

First on the list is Carrie Bradshaw, the star who narrates things through her numerous thoughts and written pieces. She seems most like a Gryffindor, as she makes bold moves in her writing, fashion, romance and life, in general.

She has a natural leadership quality and a kindness to her, as well, which are both traits commonly seen in this house. It would be amazing to see what she would do with her school robe and its red and gold accents!

Charlotte York - Hufflepuff

Charlotte

Next up is Charlotte York, who is a prim, particular and polished housewife. Due to her good ways and sweet spirit, she could easily end up as a Hufflepuff.

These types are patient, hardworking and friendly, which are all words that could be used to describe this character. Whether she is hanging with her friends, dealing with a romantic relationship or baking in the kitchen, she is doing so with a calm, determined and affectionate vibe.

Samantha Jones - Slytherin

SATC Samantha Jones

Samantha Jones is feisty and vivid, and she would fit in well as a Slytherin. This house can be associated with dark and dramatic witches and wizards, and she does have a cunning and drama-filled side, for sure.

One of their biggest strengths, though, is their ambition, and as a powerful PR professional and a deeply devoted friend, Sam could do well here. It would certainly be interesting to see how all of these lovely ladies used their skills and quirks in magical ways.

Miranda Hobbes - Ravenclaw

The final major character on SATC is Miranda Hobbes, who is the voice of reason, a workaholic lawyer and the pal with the type-A personality. She would be sorted into Ravenclaw.

This house is known for its wisdom and wit, and from her career to her sarcastic and snarky comments, it is quite simple to imagine Miranda getting this result. Just look at that no-nonsense, let's-get-down-to-business face!

Steve Brady - Hufflepuff

It is time to move on to the men of the show, beginning with Miranda’s husband, Steve Brady. He could be the poster child for Hufflepuff!

First of all, he is a total sweetheart, and these types are known for their cordial ways. Secondly, he keeps Miranda grounded and centered, which makes sense, as those in this house are loyal and patient. Miranda could have kept turning him down and pushing him away forever, and he never would have gotten angry and given up completely.

Aidan Shaw - Hufflepuff

Despite Mr. Big's popularity, some fans of the series are #TeamAidan, as Aidan Shaw is quite the man. He is also another character who could fit in well as a Hufflepuff.

He is a genuinely nice and polite guy, and he has this humble confidence that shows in his work, his relationships and his life. He also remained patient with Carrie, through all of their ups and downs.

Smith Jerrod - Gryffindor

While all of the women in the series have dated numerous notable people, this list will focus on just one of Samantha’s boyfriends: Smith Jerrod.

He is successful like a Slytherin, caring like a Hufflepuff and enlightened like a Slytherin. However, he is most like a Gryffindor, with his all-around good guy persona and the courage he gave to Samantha during her battle with cancer.

Harry Goldenblatt - Hufflepuff

Everyone knows that Charlotte ended up with Harry Goldenblatt, and though, at first, they did not seem like a good fit, this relationship was meant to be.

And while fitting someone into a box can be tough, the sorting must happen! That being said, it is easy to picture this character as a Hufflepuff, due to his kindness and his happy-go-lucky attitude.

Stanford Blatch - Gryffindor

He may be a bit timid, but Stanford Blatch is a classy, successful, and witty friend. He dresses in a fabulous way and he loves gossiping with Carrie.

Deep down, he has a humble strength and courage, therefore, he would be sorted into Gryffindor. It would be amazing to see how he styled his school uniform!

Mr. Big - Ravenclaw

Last but not least, there is Mr. Big, the man Carrie finally married. He is an influential businessman, as well as someone with commitment issues.

In short, he is very logical, as he thinks things through (sometimes too much), from his work to his love life. So, it would make sense if Big was sorted as a Ravenclaw, as this house is full of analytical and intelligent souls.
