The actor has regularly brought his signature brand of comedy to the silver screen, though his career hasn't just been about humor as he has delivered some fantastic serious performances too.

Rogen hasn't been defined by one role, which makes it hard to decide on his best film. So, we've turned to the voters at IMDb to gain a consensus on which are the actor's ten best movies.

Kung Fu Panda 3 (2016) - 7.1

Film trilogies are hard to pull off, but the first three entries in the Kung Fu Panda series are very good. The third installment sees Po return home in an attempt to master the use of chi to stop a dangerous enemy.

Seth Rogen voices the martial artist known as Mantis. Much like in the first two films, Rogen does well in adapting his style of humor to a more family-friendly tone.

The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) - 7.1

Seth Rogen has worked with the famed director and producer Judd Apatow a lot during his career. One of the best projects they collaborated on was The 40 Year Old Virgin.

In the movie, Steve Carell's Andy receives help from his co-workers (one of whom is played by Rogen) to lose his virginity. Despite the movie's impressive cast, Rogen still manages to stand out by delivering a plethora of hilarious lines.

Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011) - 7.2

Most people weren't expecting much from the follow up to 2008's Kung Fu Panda since sequels to kids' movies tend to be disappointing. However, Kung Fun Panda 2 is enjoyable adventure throughout. It follows Po and his friends as they attempt to put an end to Lord Shen's plot to take over China.

Anchorman is a cult classic, and one of the most quotable comedies of all time. The film is about an outrageous news team in the 1970s that gets shaken up when they are joined by a female anchor.

It features an all-star cast, which includes a young Seth Rogen in one of his first film roles. He plays an enthusiastic camera operator for Channel Four, and can be seen filming at the cat fashion show and the zoo.

Steve Jobs (2015) - 7.2

Initially, Seth Rogen seemed like an odd choice to play Steve Wozniak in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic as the actor has rarely appeared in dramas.

However, Rogen is fantastic at portraying the Apple co-founder, showing that he doesn’t need to use humor to deliver a strong performance. The scene where he calls out Steve Jobs for not acknowledging the team that worked on the Apple II is one of the highlights of this great film.

The Disaster Artist (2017) - 7.4

James Franco's The Disaster Artist is the film adaption of Greg Sestero's memoir of the same name. It tells the story of Sestero and the unconventional filmmaker Tommy Wiseau as they make 2003's The Room, one of the most beloved bad movies ever.

As a frequent collaborator of James Franco's, it is no surprise that Seth Rogen co-stars in the oddly charming film. He portrays a key member of the production team making the movie known as Sandy Schklair, and is often the voice of reason on the set.

Kung Fu Panda (2008) - 7.5

The first Kung Fu Panda is even better than its sequels. In the original, Po is declared the Dragon Warrior, which is a title reserved for only the best kung fu master. However, he is not a martial artist so he must train to realize his potential and live up to the famed title.

One of the martial artists that Po must train with is Seth Rogen's Mantis. The role was key in showing that the actor could work in kid's movies.

50/50 (2011) - 7.6

As he's spent most of his career as a comedy actor, Seth Rogen has rarely been involved in projects that have dealt with heavy subject matter. However, 2011's 50/50 is an exception as the actor features in this excellent film about a man who struggles to beat cancer. The story is inspired by the film's writer (and real-life friend of Rogen) Will Reiser's own battle with the disease.

Even though the film tackles a serious topic, it still includes plenty of humor. Rogen himself contributes to many of the movie's funniest moments as the best friend of the lead character.

Superbad (2007) - 7.6

Few high school comedies are as beloved Superbadwith fans still referencing the movie years after its release. And Seth Rogen deserves plenty of credit for that since he co-wrote the movie with his writing partner, Evan Goldberg.
