Following the completion of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Seth Green channeled his creative side, while churning out numerous acting roles, including voicing characters in animated series and those in video games as well.

Green launched his career in the late 1980s with roles in 1987's Radio Days and Can't Buy Me Love. However, it was in 1990, as Richie Tozier in IT, when his reputation began to garner speed. In 1993, he landed one of his first starring roles in Airborne, but he propelled himself to breakout status with his role as Kenny Fisher, a teen with an identity crisis and overactive libido in Can't Hardly Wait (1998). In fact, the 90s were good to Green, having landed roles as Dr. Evil's twisted and attention-hungry son, Scott Evil, in the Austin Powers (1997-02) franchise and as the trusted sidekick, Mick, in the cult-favorite, 1999's Idle Hands.

His run on the Joss Whedon-created show spanned over 40 episodes from 1997-00. He played Daniel 'Oz' Osbourne, who was a guitarist in a band called Dingoes Ate My Baby and was also a werewolf. He was also in relationship with Willow Rosenberg (Alyson Hannigan) in the series, one of Buffy's best friends.

Since the end of the show, Green, who prides himself as a member of nerd culture, has assumed a few uncredited cameos in major blockbuster films like an expo fan in Iron Man 2 (2010), as Howard the Duck in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) and even a stealthy role in Shazam! (2019). Green also served as the comic relief in a few action movies post-show as well, playing Johnny Marbles in Knockaround Guys (2001) and Lyle in The Italian Job (2003). He also turned in roles in two fan-favorite shows That 70's Show (2003) and Entourage (2006), in which he played himself, and two failed single-season shows, Greg the Bunny (2002) and Four Kings (2006).

Green started to really embrace his entrepreneurial spirit to the pop culture community in not only creating shows, but also lending his voice to a plethora of projects as well. There are two and, seemingly most-important, projects of which Green has lent his talents to since the end of Buffy. He flexed his entrepreneurial spirit and co-launched the series, Robot Chicken, on [adult swim], and has also serves as the voice of Chris Griffin on Family Guy, which has now turned in 344 episodes in just shy of its 21st year. In fact, the actor has been contributing his voice to numerous animated series and video games over that span as well.

As far as animation is concerned, he was Nelson Nash on Batman Beyond (1999-00), Lt. Gibbs in Titan Maximum (2009), Todo 360 in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2009-10), Rocket Racoon in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H. (2013-15) and as Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014-17). Lastly, he was also most-recently Howard the Duck on the 2018-19 animated television series, Guardians of the Galaxy. His prominent video game work includes, the Mass Effect trilogy (2007-12), as Jeff 'Joker' Moreau, and Leonardo in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Portal Power and, as Poindexter in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, both in 2016. In 2020, the former Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast member is set to provide vocals for three fan-favorite characters, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Cad Bane in the upcoming animated Disney+ series, Star Wars: Detours.
