Warning! Spoilers for Serving Up Justice: Featuring Serena Williams and Wonder Woman #2 by DC Comics below.

Tennis legend Serena Williams' own superhero adventures continue in a brand new preview for Serving Up Justice: Featuring Serena Williams and Wonder Woman #2. The digital comic, which is a collaboration between DIRECTV, DC Comics, and Critical Mass, will feature the star athlete ending up in a new part of the Multiverse, where she learns the realities version of herself is one of the greatest heroes in the galaxy.

DIRECTV launched DIRECTV Stream last year, a new service that combines conventional television with several streaming services. As part of the promotion for the service, DIRECTV teamed up with their fellow AT&T-owned DC Comics for a series of ads starring legendary athlete Serena Williams as Wonder Woman. Following the success of the commercials, DIRECTV adapted them into a comic where she becomes the hero. Serving Up Justice: Featuring Serena Williams and Wonder Woman by Amanda Diebert, Cat Staggs, Dave McCaig, and Josh Reed shows how Serena becomes Wondereous Serena. We've got an exclusive preview of the second issue.

The young girl reveals "retrobots" have taken her parents and that she's scared, as Williams gives her words of inspiration about being brave. The retrobots attack, as Williams defends by volleying their energy attacks back at them. The preview ends with a crowd cheering on Williams, believing she's the hero from their reality.
