We all know that Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald dated her boss, (and co-star,) Jason Oppenheim for about a year, but now they are not together and share a strong bond. They also have two dogs together, which some of their co-stars find a little awkward. We are curious if Jason's closeness with his ex-girlfriend affects his love life or not, and it seems like it does!

Throughout season 1 and 2, we watched how amicable Jason and Mary are even after breaking up with each other. A few days back, the 43-year-old realtor revealed that he is good friends with all of his ex-girlfriends, and Mary is one of his favorites. None of his ex-girlfriends cheated or disrespected him in any way, so there was no point in blocking them from his life. He also made a strong point that one can't merely unlove someone after a break up after sharing a loving relationship with for years - "that doesn't make much sense to me." That's the most logical thing to do. You're right on this, Jason! While Mary got married to her 26-year-old model boyfriend Romain Bonnet in the last season, Jason is looking out for a suitable partner.

When Metro asked about his love life, and if Mary causes any troubles in his new relationships, the LA-based businessman said, "It's always a conversation but never an issue. Within a certain amount of time, it's obviously something that I discuss because I share dogs with her, it's kind of hard to hide. Not to mention, we happen to have a very popular reality show." Well, the dogs should not be a problem for the new girl as long as you make her feel secure. He continued, "The real difficulty is if I'm dating someone, not only do I have to like them, and they have to pass my test, but they have to go through Mary, Amanza, Romain, Chrishell and Heather, and I almost feel sorry for anyone I date." Oh-oh! That's a hard pill to swallow.

Jason, don't you think you need to go a little easy on your new girlfriend - you have put up some tough (five) conditions. But, we feel once you would fall in love, you wouldn't care about others' opinions. You would do what your heart would say, even if that means going against your friends! The heart wants what it wants, right? The broker also revealed that he recently went out on a triple date with his twin brother Brett, who also had a date, along with Mary and Romain, at an LA's restaurant. He was nervous to introduce his lady to his best friends, Mary and Romain, and said, "I'm almost nervous because I feel like I'm introducing the girl to Mary and Romain and I'm going to hear all these comments about it.'"

Well, we think Jason is an emotional and very caring person because we saw him in tears at Mary's wedding. He's a gem of a person (and also super successful, affluent, and smart). We're hopeful that he will find his true love very soon. Probably, we would see one of his dates in the upcoming seasons.
