Vanessa Villela, the newest addition to Selling Sunset, shared her experiences joining the cast of the Netflix series. Selling Sunset season 4 was full of changes for the cast, leading to a number of dramatic events. While many of the agents at the Oppenheim Group can be highly problematic, Vanessa is a refreshing addition to the office, with a sunny and easygoing personality that seems to balance some of the ridiculous drama that the women get into. But it wasn't easy for her to fit in at first.

Joining the series with Emma Hernan, Vanessa largely stayed out of the drama, though she was initially pulled in by Christine Quinn early in the season. Christine tried to give Vanessa a lay of the land and shared her opinions of the other agents with the newbie. Vanessa smartly took everything with a grain of salt, always going back to the other women and asking them about their side of things. That way, she stayed out of the fray but was privy to all of it. Not a bad place to be.

Per Digital Spy, Vanessa shared about her experiences with the cast on Selling Sunset season 4. While the office is known for its division amongst the agents, Vanessa explained that she found it difficult "judging anyone" at the Oppenheim Group. During the scandal involving Emma and Christine's shared ex, Vanessa shared that she was unable to take one side over the other, choosing to be neutral. When asked about the drama at Oppenheim, Vanessa explained, "I love them all so it was difficult for me — I couldn't take a side and a lot of people I'm sure were like, 'Oh my God, Vanessa, please take a side." With loyalty to all of her co-workers, Vanessa has already avoided the problematic decision to cause division in the office by siding with one co-worker over another. With a seemingly heightened level of maturity, Vanessa seems to favor friendship and real estate success over the petty happenings of the office.

While agents at Oppenheim have often gotten distracted by alliances and gossip, Vanessa has expressed that she has gone into the series and the office with an open mind. Even though many of the agents have tried to drag Vanessa into their squabbles, particularly involving Christine and Emma's controversy, Vanessa refuses to let herself get entangled in other agents' arguments. Devoted to her work and succeeding at the office by choosing to accept all of her co-workers for both their strengths and flaws, Vanessa remains as one of the most reasonable, beneficial additions to Selling Sunset.

Even though season 4 of the series has been released and fans have gotten a teaser about the new office dynamics to come in season 5, Vanessa is certain to be an integral figure as the series continues. With plenty more to explore, both in the world of real estate and in the interpersonal drama in the office, Selling Sunset has many loose ends to circle back to when the series returns.
