Flip or Flop's Tarek El Moussa has confirmed his relationship with Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young. He shared his excitement about his new girlfriend in a recent Instagram post.
El Moussa stars in the HGTV reality home renovation show Flip or Flop with his now ex-wife Christina Anstead. Despite the two finalizing their divorce in January 2018, and Christina remarrying Wheelers Dealers host Ant Anstead in December last year, she and El Moussa continue to work alongside each other to renovate houses in Southern California. Meanwhile, El Moussa's new girlfriend, Rae Young, stars in Selling Sunset, a Netflix show documenting the lives of affluent real estate brokers in L.A. It's unclear when the two reality TV stars met, but they were spotted kissing on a yacht off the coast of California in July this year. Now, the two are making it official.
In a sweet Instagram post, El Moussa wrote "it's official" underneath a photo of Rae Young kissing his cheek on the set of Entertainment Tonight. He continued, "After more than 3 years on my own I’m so PROUD to say that this beautiful, sweet and talented young lady is my girlfriend!" El Moussa went on to say that he never could have predicted meeting someone like Rae Young, just like he couldn't predict his divorce from Anstead or his two cancer diagnosis's - El Moussa has survived both testicular and thyroid cancer. Shortly after El Moussa made the announcement, Rae Young shared her boyfriend's enthusiasm in an Instagram post of her own.
The Selling Sunset star wrote that El Moussa came into her life at the "perfect time" and that sometimes a person just feels like they are "meant to be" in your life. She also gave her followers some more details about the day that she and El Moussa met. Apparently, his pickup move was honking his boat horn at her, and Rae Young wrote that in that moment EL Moussa became her "game changer."
Fans will have to wait and see if El Moussa and Rae Young's relationship develops into anything more. Meanwhile, the stars are keeping busy. El Moussa's new show, Flipping 101 w/ Tarek El Moussa, is set to premiere on HGTV early 2020. Around the same time, Rae Young will be back selling luxury real estate on the sunset strip when Season 2 of Selling Sunset premieres on Netflix.
