Mary Fitzgerald is speaking out against Christine Quinn's behavior on Selling Sunset season 5 and believes Christine "dug her own grave." Mary and Christine spent the season at odds with Christine being seemingly unapologetic about her shady remarks about the cast. Mary spent years being patient with Christine. But after seeing Christine rub everyone the wrong way, Mary thinks Christine is to blame for her lack of friendships.

Season 4 showed the start of Mary and Christine's feud. They were once the closest and had even lived together at one point. But during the break between season 3 and season 4, Mary grew tired of Christine's continued mean girl antics. Mary spoke out against Christine and even defended newcomer Emma Hernan over Christine's claims of being engaged to their mutual ex Peter Cornell. Both Emma and Mary denied Christine's claims and said she was lying. Mary even confronted Christine at an event for the first time in the show's history.

Mary and Christine's feud carried over into season 5. Newcomer Chelsea Lazkani was the only friend Christine had willing to give her a listening ear. But after watching the season back, Mary feels no sympathy for Christine. "She has dug her own grave," Mary told People. While she credits herself for being professional and willing to work with anyone, Mary says it would "take a miracle" to get her to be friends with Christine again. "For Christine and I, personally, I feel like I've given chance after chance," she said of her former friend. "Honestly, I just don't think about her. She's not involved in any of our lives and we don't hang out together," Mary quipped.

Mary and Heather Rae Young used to be a trio with Christine. But once Chrishell Stuase joined the team, Christine took issue with her and ignited a feud. Once Mary and Heather built friendships with Chrishell, Christine became distant and the feud further ignited. Things only got worse when Christine continued to badmouth the group on the show and in the press. It got to the point where everyone teamed up to call Christine out. While Mary had hopes of Christine changing her tune, season 5 highlighted Christine's response to being iced out. "I wish she would have been able to change earlier," Mary said. But she knows she "can't make people behave the way I want them to, so that's on her," Mary said.

Season 5 ended with Christine being given an ultimatum to either change her mean girl antics or risk being removed from The Oppenheim Group. With Mary being promoted to a managing partner role, she has more power in the office and doesn't have to entertain the negative energy Christine can bring. Mary and Christine's up and down friendship appears to be over for now. But there's hope for a reconciliation between the Selling Sunset stars.
