The Oppenheim Group can be a fierce jungle and even though the company only works with competent and expert real estate agents, some cast members of Selling Sunset are more competent than others. It's not easy being a real estate agent because there are so many aspects involved in selling a luxury property. From construction and staging to price fluctuations and flighty clients, the agents have to handle it all. In professions like these, prioritizing skills become quite key because time is money when it comes to real estate.

From the very first season, it became obvious that Mary, Christine, and Maya are a cut above the rest. What set them apart was how well they juggled multiple properties. Each agent has an area of expertise. Mary, for instance, is an expert at managing or supervising the construction of new properties and she's also a quick closer when it comes to big deals, while Maya is great at pitching modestly-prized properties. Now, every agent has a fair idea of how to divide their time when they're trying to close Escrow. But some of them are simply better at it than others because they are better at balancing their time and planning.

Emma Hernan

Emma is a versatile agent and she is a pro with blueprints and previewing development properties, That is in itself quite a bonus since it cuts down the back and forth that's usually needed before presenting a home. Though Emma is the latest addition to the Oppenheim Group and the show hasn't showcased too much of her work, it's evident that she's terrific at her job.

She usually does a lot of homework before she shows a property so the buyer has a pretty good idea of what a property can end up looking like. It also saves a lot of time for both parties. When she was pitching the Bird Street property to Jamie Freed, she already knew exactly what remodeling the house needed to make its value go up which saved her client the hassle of spending days working out the renovations.

Davina Potratz

Davina Potratz Interviewed On Selling Sunset Season 4

In Season 5, Davina has a tough time scoring listings, and Mary, too, isn't too happy with her. It doesn't help that her colleagues aren't the most supportive and Davina gets in some of the biggest fights on Selling Sunset. Her time management skills do factor in quite heavily, as Mary points out in season 5 that Davina simply may not be the best judge of a buyer's character and needs to prioritize better.

When she goes to her former client, property developer Adnan Sen for a third chance, Davina does look a little out of her depth. She also fails to score a co-listing opportunity that was almost promised to her and fails to impress her client Tal with a property. Season 5 does kind of make her look incompetent as she blames the real estate market for being unpredictable and fails to secure sure-shot listings and ends up spending way too much time with them.

Amanza Smith

Her expertise also makes her one of the most efficient agents since she knows exactly how to pitch a house. Maya is a great listener and is always looking out for details so when her clients tell her what they're looking for, she doesn't waste their time pitching or showing something that wouldn't be interested in.

When she is tasked with helping Chrishell learn the ropes of the profession, Maya demonstrates herself as a dynamic and perfectionist agent who is all about making the most of her clients' time. However, she handles some expensive properties which are difficult to unload and is often seen struggling to close a deal.

Christine is a great study of her clients, which saves her a lot of time because she knows who usually goes for what.

In the sixth episode of Season 1, she reveals that she has been selling houses on the Sunset Strip for years which gives her an edge. Christine reportedly sold $37,080,000 worth of houses from seasons 1 through 3, which is a staggering amount. So, Christine's straightforwardness also helps her save a lot of time in the field.

Mary Fitzgerald
