Season 3 of Selling Sunset is set to release in a week. So, will the show get picked by Netflix one more time, or the upcoming season would be the finale? Well, reports have emerged that the next season might go under the production.
Selling Sunset is quite different from the other real estate oriented reality shows. It not only features uber-expensive properties in one of the poshest cities, Los Angeles. But also gives a sneak peek of the luxurious lives of a group of gorgeous, successful, rich female realtors. There are awkward confrontations, exotic parties, fiery fights, and plenty of eye-rolling moments, which makes it super entertaining. Too bad, it comes with only eight episodes per season. While viewers are excited to watch season 3, they are also thinking about if there's going to be a next season. Well, given the massive popularity of this series, it looks like there will be a season 4. Christine Quinn reveals the exact status of season 4. So, let’s figure out when the audience can probably watch it!
While talking to Grazia in an interview, the blonde bombshell revealed that the filming has been affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The show usually gets renewed for the next season just after the one airs. She said, "We'll hear some information, some rumblings. With season 2 being in the top 10 [on Netflix], I think we're definitely going to get picked up." However, the pandemic has definitely slowed down the production. The 31-year-old realtor explained, "But everything has been setback due to COVID. We're going to shoot next year, now, I'm hearing. We have such a big production, there's so many people on our crew. I don't think we'd be filming this year."
Most probably, the production will start at the beginning of 2021, and producers usually film for about seven months. Considering the post-production and editing time of two months, viewers will possibly get to see the next season by the end of the following year. So, there's going to be a long wait.
