Since season three of Selling Sunset wrapped, Mary Fitzgerald says she's only gotten "closer" with her co-stars Heather Rae and Chrishell Stause. After teasing their budding friendship last season, the real estate agents have continued to hang out in between filming. In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Mary shared how they have kept in touch and strengthened their bond ahead of the new season.
It was recently announced that Netflix greenlit two more seasons of Selling Sunset after the reality series received rave reviews from fans. The show follows the inner workings of the agents at West Hollywood real estate firm The Oppenheim Group. Whether it's the luxury properties they're selling, the celebrity clientele they bring in, or the disagreements among the primarily women-led agency, the show continues to be a hit among streamers. Viewers have watched as Mary has struck up a friendship with Heather and Chrishell as the trio has all been on the outs with fellow agent Christine Quinn. Since filming has wrapped, it appears that the trio has only gotten closer while their ties with Christine have become more strained.
In an exclusive interview with Screen Rant, Mary gushed when speaking of her friendship with Heather and Chrishell. With production for season four expected to pick up later this month, Mary teased the dynamic that viewers can expect between her and her new workplace girl squad. "Chrishell, Heather and I have all become pretty close," Mary revealed. "Since we stopped filming, we've gotten even closer." According to the LA-based realtor, the three agents met while working at The Oppenheim Group. But, they've maintained a genuine connection in between sharing their lives on reality television. "We've always been good friends, but we talk to each other all the time," Mary shared before explaining how they've kept in touch in between filming.
"We make a point to see each other, I went wedding shopping with her [Heather] the other day," Mary dished. Heather is preparing to exchange vows with Flip or Flop host Tarek El Moussa. The two have appeared inseparable since they both moved on from their exes with each other. Heather teased the early stages of the romance last season. In season four, viewers will possibly get to see Heather and Tarek wedding planning together ahead of their big day. Mary continued to share all the fun she has with Chrishell and Heather when the cameras aren't around. "We just have a lot of fun together, and I think all three of us have very similar personalities," she added.
With it being a pandemic, Mary hasn't been able to spend as much time as she would like with her coworkers and co-stars. But, now that filming is set to begin, she shared how excited she is to be reunited with Heather and Chrishell. "I look forward to seeing the girls even more," she shared. "We were just talking about that, with [the] pandemic that's kept us apart and how we always get a little nervous going into a new season and stuff. It's like, 'Oh, what's gonna happen now?' But we're very excited to be able to see each other more." Well, fans are excited to see what the new season brings, so get to filming!
