Jason Oppenheim, a co-star of Selling Sunset, recently listed his lavish house in Los Angeles for $8 million. The co-owner of The Oppenheim Group on Sunset, Jason has had a successful career, both as a broker and a reality star on Netflix's hit reality series, Selling Sunset. Running the Oppenheim Group with his twin brother, Brett Oppenheim, the two have monopolized Hollywood real estate after the success of the series, even expanding into Orange County. With rumors of a new season approaching, fans can expect more from Jason and the rest of the Selling Sunset cast in months to come, with plenty of drama certain to follow.

While the series has been on a standstill since the release of season 3 in August of 2020, the office dynamics on Sunset starting to shift at the Oppenheim Group. Jason's shocking new relationship with Chrishell Stause has taken the forefront of Selling Sunset news. While many have shared their confusion and reservations about the latest office romance, the two appear to be happier than ever, now public with their relationship. Focused on expensive L.A. properties and new romantic pursuits, Jason appears to be focusing on his career yet also taking the time to invest in the people around him.

Despite just moving into his most recent property, PEOPLE shared their conversation with Jason about the sudden listing of his extraordinary Los Angeles property. Jason has been open about his "love" and excitement for his new home, having already investing "7-figures [worth of ] renovations." Despite the listing, Jason explained, "I'm not certain I want to sell it. I'm more inclined to lease it because I love the house so much. But I decided to put it up on the market regardless." At 4,784-square-feet, the property includes "impressive city views," "stunning 20-foot ceilings," and construction "by Avengers actor Jeremy Renner." Original and a rare find in Los Angeles, Jason stated, "I think it's likely that I'll move back to the house at a later date. I absolutely love the house and the area." Claiming the house is "special" and "well-located," Jason seems reluctant to part ways with the home.

Well-acquainted with the biggest properties in the hills, Jason couldn't speak highly enough about this particular property, sharing that the house "checked so many important boxes that [he] look[s] for in a property." Full of personal touches, such as a "bar" and "wine room," Jason has invested himself in the property, spending a great deal to make the home just to his liking and unlike anything else available on the market. With the listing, fans are certain to see Jason's change in priorities, moving from extravagant purchases and projects to spending time with his latest love interest, Chrishell.

Oftentimes, the stars of Selling Sunset seem overtly superficial, more concerned about petty arguments and commission rather than the well-being of the people in their lives. As followers have watched the stars grow and progress throughout the first three seasons of the series, it is encouraging to see at least one of the stars make healthier life choices. While this particular listing may seem insignificant, Jason has made small steps to put this superficiality behind him. Focused on his business, but more importantly, his blossoming connection with Chrishell, Jason has added positivity and progress to the often toxic nature of the office and the series. While other members of the Oppenheim Group have had struggled to resist the drama, such as Heather Young and her wedding invitation theatrics, Jason seems to be making sense of his life and creating room for his co-stars to follow in his footsteps.
