Selling Sunset star Heather Rae Young and her fiancé, Tarek El Moussa, have gotten their marriage license ahead of their nuptials. The couple has been teasing their wedding plans as they gear up for the big day. Heather recently shared a short clip showing how happy she and Tarek were after getting their marriage license. With them both leaving failed relationships behind, Heather and Tarek became "emotional" while moving closer to becoming a union.
The reality star couple has been going strong since they started dating two years ago. Heather and Tarek met during a yacht party on July 4, and sparks instantly flew. Tarek was coming out of a divorce with his Flip or Flop co-star Christina Haack, and Heather ended the long-distance relationship she had with an overseas hockey player. Heather and Tarek wasted no time getting serious. By 2020, they moved in together, and on their one-year anniversary, Tarek popped the big question. The duo has been taking their time with planning out their dream wedding, and now they're even closer to making their relationship official.
Heather closed out the week by sharing a short video clip with Tarek after they received their marriage license. "One step closer to becoming Mrs. El Moussa!!!," Heather captioned the post. "Got our marriage license today and it made us both emotional. Now let’s get married already boy." Tarek and Heather shared a kiss while the professional house flipper held the document. "#FlippingHerLastName" was the hashtag Heather added that plays off the name of Tarek's popular show. He responded to the post with a series of heart emojis.
Heather spent the summer planning their wedding. She hosted a bridal shower that included all of her friends in the cast. Noticeably absent was Christine Quinn. The couple hasn't been on the best terms with Christine after she bad-mouthed their relationship in the press. Heather has already hinted that Christine won't be invited to the wedding. Fans are expecting Heather to share more about her relationship Selling Sunset season 4. The cast has been busy filming two seasons after getting greenlit earlier this year.
It's already been reported that Heather and Tarek's wedding will be filmed for Discovery+. However, should they choose to share parts of their wedding on Selling Sunset, they'll be the third couple to do so. Mary Fitzgerald and Romain Bonnet held the first wedding in season 2, and Christine and her husband, Christian Richard, tied the knot in season 3. There's also a lot of love in the air at the Oppenheim Group after Jason Oppenheim and Chrishell Stause confirmed their relationship in July. With Heather being close friends with Mary and Chrishell, they'll likely be heavily involved in the upcoming wedding.
