Heather Rae Young, of Selling Sunset, and her husband Tarek El Moussa are set to star in their own house-flipping show on HGTV. Heather has a strong real estate background and has been getting extra experience in the market by appearing alongside Tarek and his kids on his HGTV show Flipping 101. The veteran reality star has starred on Netflix's Selling Sunset for five seasons as a real estate agent at The Oppenheim Group. Heather and Tarek's extensive real estate backgrounds make for the perfect house flipping team.

Since tying the knot, Heather and Tarek have been reveling in newlywed bliss. The pair got married in October 2021 after a whirlwind two-year romance. The pair first met through mutual friends during a yacht party on July 4, 2019. Heather and Tarek remained inseparable after the first meeting and went Instagram official the following month. The happy couple moved in together in early 2020 and got engaged shortly after celebrating their one-year anniversary. Heather has experienced a few bumps in the road connecting with Tarek's ex-wife Christina Haack but maintains a positive stepmother relationship with their two kids.

Now, the happy newlyweds are set to put their love on display through their new docuseries on HGTV—The Flipping El Moussas, ET reports. The new series will consist of eight episodes and premieres in 2023. The show will follow Heather and Tarek's personal and professional lives as they work to renovate their new home and expand their family. The Selling Sunset star has been open about her fertility journey and hopes to conceive a child of her own. The new show will highlight Tarek assisting Heather with getting more acclimated with the house flipping market. “We are so excited to bring viewers into our world to see the ins and outs of our day-to-day lives,” Heather and Tarek said in a statement. “As busy parents and successful real estate experts, fans can watch us as we go from making breakfast for the kids in the morning, to making business deals by the afternoon."

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae

It'll be a big transition for Heather, who is used to only teasing aspects of her personal life on Selling Sunset. Tarek has made a few guest appearances on the show, but it makes sense why he was likely holding out in the hopes of securing a show with his wife. This isn't Tarek's first time starring in a house-flipping show with a spouse. Tarek and Christina starred on HGTV's Flip or Flop even after their divorce. The pair continued working together on set despite the obvious tension between them. Things came to a head last year when Tarek and Christina got into a screaming match on set. Recently, photographers captured Heather and Christina in a heated exchange at their son's soccer game.

It took an emergency surgery on their 6-year-old son Brayden for the feuding couples to put their differences aside. Christina and Tarek have managed to continue co-parenting despite the lingering tension from their messy divorce. Now with a new show on the horizon, Heather and Tarek will be able to create new reality TV memories. Selling Sunset fans might speculate if the new show points to Heather's possible exit from the Netflix show. But for now, Heather plans to juggle both gigs.
