Micah McDonald was introduced as Emma Hernan's new developer and date on Selling Sunset season 5. The chemistry between Emma and Micah was evident. Emma's love life has been at the forefront of her storylines on Selling Sunset. As the season 4 newcomer, Emma joined The Oppenheim Group with scarred history with Christine Quinn over their mutual ex Peter Cornell. Emma was once engaged to Peter, and Christine claimed she was too. But Emma and Mary Fitzgerald both denied Christine's claims. Emma returned to season 5, still single and ready to mingle. While viewing a Beverly Hills property, Emma met Micah, an extremely attractive property developer who can playfully flirt while also sticking to business.
Emma isn't one to mix business with pleasure, but she found it hard to resist Micah's good looks and charm after meeting him. "Not only is he attractive and successful and confident, but we actually have a lot in common," the entrepreneur and realtor gushed about Micah on the show, as captured by Us Weekly. "I mean, basically, he’s just, like, check, check, checking every damn box," she quipped. Micah is originally from Texas and likely used his natural southern charm to win Emma over. The pair enjoyed their first date onscreen at a mezcal tasting at his restaurant Sagrado. Emma was instantly drawn to Micah when meeting him.
Micah spent five years working on the lavish property. "The vision for this home began back in 2016! More than 5 years later the vision became reality! She came out even better than expected!" Micah captioned an Instagram post. Micah is a fitness buff who enjoys his time in the gym. The Texas native is also a sports fan and recently sat courtside at a basketball game to watch the Houston Rockets. Micah's Instagram highlights his love for art, fashion, and the social scene. He also is an animal lover who celebrated National Puppy Day last year. His natural charm was clearly able to win Emma over. The hustling entrepreneurs both incorporated their businesses into their first date. Emma got to enjoy Micah's Sagrado Mezcaleria bar and taste his drinks while Micah enjoyed a few bites of Emma's vegan empanadas.
Emma and Micah are also still going strong since wrapping season 5. “Me and Micah definitely have something special,” Emma told ET. “We're definitely still enjoying each other's company." Things have "progressed" since filming season 5, and Emma appears hopeful that Micah could make a return in Selling Sunset season 6. "There will be a label, a ring. Who knows?” Emma jokingly teased. Emma could be the next member of the cast to find love on the show. Emma has been transparent about her adventurous love life and the A-list actors who allegedly reached out to her on Raya. But Micah could be the one to take her off the market for good.
