Christine Quinn is promoting Selling Sunset season 5 but made sure to call out the "fake storylines" she believes take center stage. The new season premiered on Friday and Christine reminded her followers to tune in. But considering all of the feuds she has within the cast, many of the cast's storylines surround her. But Christine thinks some of her colleagues are fabricating claims about her to get more camera time.

Christine had little to no friends in season 4. She was fresh postpartum from welcoming her son following her lavish season 3 wedding. Had it not been for season 4 newcomer Vanessa Villela, Christine might not have had anyone to talk to. Vanessa played the middle man between Christine and the rest of the ladies who all had different quarrels with her. Christine's former friends Mary Fitzgerald and Heather Rae Young had written her off for the harsh remarks she's made on and off the show. Chrishell Stause was considering filing a lawsuit against Christine for some of the mean-spirited things she said about her. Newcomer Emma Hernan also had unfinished business with Christine over their mutual ex Peter Cornell.

Amid the season 5 premiere, Christine is promoting the show while throwing out some shade at her co-stars. “30 minutes till the launch of #SellingSunset 🥰🥰enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines! 💰 💅,” Christine tweeted. While Christine didn't elaborate on who or which storylines she was referring to, sources tell Page Six she was vaguely referencing Emma's claims that Christine offered a “$5,000 bribe” to poach one of her clients. Christine and Emma's Season 4 feud has spilled over into the new season. The two have a scarred history over their mutual ex-fiancé.

Emma and Mary claim Christine is lying about having been engaged to Peter, but Christine is offended they think she would lie about such a thing. Christine continued venting about Emma and their different views on dating Peter. "I was annoyed every single day doing it because it’s not something that I would actually talk about,Christine said at the time. Mary, Heather, and Chrishell quickly befriended Emma in Season 4. Their mutual dislike for Christine was often the topic of discussion. Many viewers expressed frustration with the show focusing more on the feuds than on real estate.

Christine has become the show villain due to all of her feuds within the cast. Despite all the criticism she receives, Christine stands firm in her truth and doesn't care to fraternize with the rest of the Oppenheim Group agents. She might send a frenemy a lavish gift just because. But it's clear that Christine is fine riding solo and entertaining a select few. Selling Sunset season 5 newcomer Chelsea Lazkani appears to be Christine's new partner in crime. Hopefully, they're still friends next season.
