Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause reportedly got upset after Jason Oppenheim kissed another woman. After dating for five months, the co-workers broke up in December. They apparently split up because Jason, who previously dated Mary Fitzgerald, didn't want to start a family.

When Chrishell revealed she was dating Jason, fans of the Netflix hit were shocked. Many speculated that it was just for publicity, or for a storyline on the show. The relationship was not a part of the fourth season, which premiered in November. However, the finale ended with a teaser for season 5, which showed them kissing. In a matter of curious timing, their breakup announcement happened right after season 5 wrapped filming in December. Since then, the exes have appeared to be on cordial terms. But a new rumor may paint a different story.

An anonymous source told Page Six that Chrishell was upset with Jason as they both attended a Super Bowl party on Friday. The insider claimed to overhear the Oppenheim Group on his cell phone, wanting to get away from his soap star ex. The individual, identified only as a "Page Six spy," said they heard the conversation because he accidentally went into the ladies' room. Per the source's story, the 44-year-old said he wanted to go back to a table with twin brother Brett and new fan favorite castmate Emma Hernan. However, the realtor allegedly complained, "I’m not allowed to go back there because Chrishell saw me kissing somebody and f–king flipped, I don’t know.” It's unclear if the mystery woman he apparently kissed was also attending the West Hollywood-set bash. The source also claimed to spot a visibly upset Chrishell at a VIP table. The 40-year-old reportedly told co-star Amanza Smith, "I'm so f-cking pissed." Later in the night, though, the Kentucky native was seen in a better mood as she danced with friends.

Chrishell Stause looking surprised on Selling Sunset

The anonymous party-goer insisted no cameras were present, so the drama wasn't for the show. And the source made sure to note that Chrishell, who denied dating Marvel star Simu Liu, was at a table with bottle service. In the description of Jason's alleged behavior, they also implied he was intoxicated. If the story is true, it would back up something the Dancing With The Stars alum recently said about her ex. While promoting her new book, Chrishell said things with Jason are awkward only when there's alcohol involved.

In their social media statements about the split, both of the Netflix stars gushed over one another. The brokerage owner called the Murray State University alum the best girlfriend he ever had. Some fans found this odd considering his years-long romance with Mary. Many viewers of the reality series have never believed the pair dated for real, despite their insistence it wasn't a showmance. But if the recount of the night is true, and they weren't filming, it could shut down that speculation. Either way, it ensures Selling Sunset, renewed for two more seasons, will continue to bring the drama.
