Chrishell Stause is so determined to enter motherhood that the Selling Sunset star says she's willing to start a family all on her own. After calling it quits with Jason Oppenheim over their opposing views on starting a family soon, Chrishell is moving forward with her family planning. The real estate maven recently dished on how excited she is to become a mom despite her single status. Chrishell is freeing herself from the idea that the only way she can become a mother is if she has a partner to conceive a child with.
Chrishell entered 2022 as a single woman after she and Jason announced their split in December 2021. The co-stars enjoyed a months-long romance that included beach getaways and red carpet appearances. But when it came to where Chrishell and Jason potentially having kids together, they realized that they had different hopes. After a heartbreaking divorce from This is Us star Justin Hartley, Chrishell was ready to move on with someone who wanted a future and a family together. However, Jason and his twin brother Brett apparently have no desire to have children at this time in their lives and both of them ended up single within weeks of each other.
With Chrishell currently promoting her new memoir Under Construction: Because Living My Best Life Took a Little Work, the Selling Sunset star explained why she is keeping her "options open" and hasn't given up hope on starting a family. "I would love for that to happen, but if it doesn't, I feel like I can do it on my own," Chrishell told People in regards to potentially starting a family by herself. "That's something that seems scary, but it also seems a little freeing, knowing that I'm not tied down to this idea that I only have this finite amount of time to figure it out." At 40 years old, Chrishell knows exactly what she wants for her future - and it involves babies. "I feel like it's one of those things where I'm giving myself a certain amount of time," Chrishell added.
While she's open to waiting to find love and conceiving a child with a partner, Chrishell isn't closed off to exploring other possible options. "I definitely have come around to the thought that, yes, I'm going to go and try and [find a partner], but if I don't find that, that's okay too." Chrishell isn't the only woman in the Oppenheim Group looking to become a mother. Heather Rae Young is now also working on conceiving and has been sharing her experience with freezing her eggs at an early age after learning she had a low egg count. As Heather and her husband Tarek El Moussa hope for an addition to his two children from his previous marriage, Chrishell is having a very different experience.
Chrishell is on the heels of her second breakup following her divorce from Justin, who moved on with their mutual friend Sofia Pernas. In February 2021, Chrishell broke up with Dancing With The Stars pro dancer Keo Motsepe and moved on with Jason a few months later. Chrishell is opening up about her rocky road of love in her new book. As she continues to remain transparent with the fans, the Selling Sunset star is reeling in more interest around her season 5 storyline. With Chrishell and Jason breaking up before the season aired, fans are wondering if their romance will be shown in the season at all.
