Star of Selling Sunset Chrishell Stause reveals that she looks forward to starting a family in the future. That's why she has taken the step to freeze her eggs.

In Selling Sunset season 3, Chrishell tells her co-star Mary Fitzgerald that she wishes to be a mother soon. However, her then-husband, Justin Hartley, wasn't quite ready to start a family, and he wanted to wait for a while. She told Mary, "He is more patient than me, but I definitely would have thought that I would be a mom at this point, but I love him." She added, "He is my person, so things change." But, shortly after this conversation in November 2019, Justin filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.

While talking to People in an interview, the 39-year-old actress revealed that she didn't want to feel the pressure of starting a family with her future partner within a particular time frame. So, she decided to freeze her eggs. She said, "I'm going to do everything I can to take that power in the situation, and hopefully, that will empower me going forward in the dating world, so there's not so much pressure."  In one of the episodes of Selling Sunset, she claimed that she was "blindsided" by her ex, and he informed her about the divorce over a text. She added, "I definitely had a different idea for where I would be at this age and stage in my life. There's a family aspect that I'm missing that I hope is still a possibility for me.

Chrishell Stause Dancing With the Stars

After the massive popularity of Netflix's Selling Sunset, she got the opportunity to be a dancer in another reality show, Dancing With The Stars. While the real estate agent was preparing for her debut on the dance show, she was in the process of freezing her eggs. Chrishell said, "I was in the middle of the process when DWTS approached me. So for the first weeks of rehearsal, I was giving myself daily hormone shots while learning the tango, and the procedure was done a few days before the premiere of the show." She jokingly added, "Maybe I could blame that on my less than stellar tango! Just kidding — I will always suck at the tango." Many Dancing With The Stars fans would know she is collaborating with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko. However, her first-ever tango performance wasn't very well-liked by the judges, and they scored her poorly. And there was an uproar of her fans on social media who claimed that judges were too hard on Chrishell.

While looking back at her divorce with Justin Hartley, the Netflix star said, "Everything happens for a reason. I'm grateful for the twists and the turns, as painful as they've been." Now, she's all set to move on!
