Chrishell Stause recently dished on what it's like dating her Selling Sunset co-star Jason Oppenheim and how "surprised" they were to fall in love. Many fans have been wondering how the two managed to strike up a romance despite how closely they work together. But Chrishell says the two became "best friends" that developed feelings for each other. Now as the cast gears up for season 4, Chrishell is opening up about dating her boss.

Jason managed to sweep Chrishell off her feet after her February breakup with Dancing With The Stars pro dancer Keo Motsepe. Keo was the first guy Chrishell dated following her divorce from This is Us star, Justin Hartley. Season 3 of Selling Sunset followed Chrishell's emotional journey after learning about Justin's divorce filing via text. During her heartbreak, Jason was a constant support to Chrishell and allowed her time off from work. Even after she briefly dated Keo, her boss at The Oppenheim Group was always there to be a listening ear. Through their friendship, Chrishell and Jason were able to develop a genuine connection as a couple.

In July, Chrishell and Jason confirmed their romance through a series of vacation photos. Now, Chrishell is dishing on her love life with Jason. But not after calling out the double standards she faces as a woman in business. “For women, you can work so hard, and sometimes it’s frustrating to feel like people only want to focus on who’s in your bed,” she told Bustle. "I’m just saying Jason doesn’t get these questions. They’re talking about real estate with him.” She recalled what made the couple decide to go public due to all the eyes they knew were already on them. "We were about to get outed, so it was either I post it, or somebody else was about to post it,” Chrishell said.

After posting the photos, fans reeled over the confirmed romance. Jason was the last person viewers thought Chrishell would consider dating. After all the heat she caught as the newcomer in season 2, dating one of the owners wouldn't help her when it comes to Jason's alleged "favorites." But Chrishell explained how "unexpected" the new relationship was for her and Jason. “He’s always been a very proud bachelor. That’s the opposite of what I’m looking for,” Chrishell recalled. “He always dated these young blonde models. We just were not each other’s types.” Despite all the odds that were against them, the duo sparked a flame. “I became best friends with someone platonically before it started to become romantic, so I just think that over time we both were surprised by it," Chrishell said.

Viewers are hoping Chrishell and Jason share some of their love story in season 4 despite reports saying they wouldn't. Their relationship is sure to be the topic of conversation within the office and the show's villain Christine Quinn has already thrown some shade at the new couple. Chrishell is good friends with all of her co-stars minus Christine. But that won't stop Christine from sharing her take on the matter. The Selling Sunset cast has a lot to entertain viewers with outside of Chrishell dating Jason. There still are houses to sell and new agents to introduce. But hopefully, we get a glimpse at the budding romance.
