DWTS new season is right around the corner. Last week, ABC finally revealed the premiere date of season 29, which is September 14. Along with the premiere date, the show also revealed which dance pros will be returning and that the new DWTS host is Tyra Banks. The supermodel would be replacing the show’s longtime running hosts, Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. However, with all the recent news being revealed, it seems like fans will still have to wait to find out which iconic celebs will be participating this season. The only officially confirmed contestant right now is the former Bachelorette star, Kaitlyn Bristowe. The full cast isn’t expected to be released until September 2nd, but rumors are already starting to come through the grapevine regarding which celebrities are considering competing. One of those celebrities is none other than Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause.
Yesterday, sources told E! News exclusively that “Carole Baskin, Chrishell Stause, Anne Heche, and AJ McLean are all in talks to compete for the mirrorball trophy this season, and are close to being confirmed.” E! News also confirmed, “Dr. Anthony Fauci, coronavirus expert, was asked, but declined to participate.“ While Dr. Fauci was able to throw the first pitch at MLB’s Opening Day, he’s schedule is definitely too busy for DWTS. Chrishell is busy, too, but may have time to add a new achievement to her list.
It’s not all that surprising that Selling Sunset’s Chrishell Stause would be chosen for DWTS. Along with the Netflix reality TV show being one of the most popular to watch this summer, Chrishell Stause’s divorce makes headlines lately. Stause and This is Us star, Justin Hartley have been going through their messy public breakup since November. So, naturally, DWTS wants this Selling Sunset starlet on season 29.
