Chelsea Lazkani, the newest agent on Selling Sunset, recently gave an update on her career and future with The Oppenheim Group, revealing if she would ever join Christine Quinn's new firm. Introduced to viewers at the start of Selling Sunset season 5, Chelsea won over both fans and her fellow brokers with her sharp business savvy and negotiation skills. As Christine's close friend, Chelsea initially received a cautious reception from fellow castmates Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young and Emma Hernan. However, the women eventually came around to Chelsea and welcomed her to the brokerage. Since appearing on the show, she has continued to make a name for herself as a powerhouse in the California luxury real estate scene.

Since Selling Sunset season 1, Christine has been at the center of the drama. However, her antics seemed to have finally crossed the line in season 5 of the franchise, which proved to be the most drama-filled season yet. And while Selling Sunset season 5 was packed with plenty of feuds among the cast, nothing compared to the bombshell accusation that she attempted to sabotage the career of fellow castmate Emma. Selling Sunset season 5 ended with a cliffhanger regarding the future of Christine's fate with the brokerage, with it later being confirmed that she left The Oppenheim Group ahead of Selling Sunset season 6 to start her own firm. While fans speculated that Christine left the show because of the drama, the Selling Sunset star insisted that her new business venture with her husband, Christian Richard, has been in the works for a while.

In a recent interview with E! News, Selling Sunset’s Chelsea was asked about BFF and former co-worker Christine's plans for starting her own firm, as well as whether she plans to join Christine's new firm as an agent. "Not right now…I like where I'm at," she explained. As for her opinion on whether she hopes Christine will return to Selling Sunset, Chelsea commented that she "bloody hopes so” and added, “She’s such great TV. She’s amazing behind the camera too.” Netflix has yet to officially comment on the filming or potential release date of Selling Sunset's return just yet, leaving plenty of time for speculation around a few potential shakeups ahead of the show’s next season.

During the Selling Sunset season 5 finale, Christine's place at the Oppenheim Group was at risk after accusations surfaced that she’d attempted to sabotage fellow realtor Emma. It was alleged by several sources on the show that Christine offered one of her clients $5,000 to not work with Emma as a result of the long-harbored grudge the pair had. Despite Christine denying the claims, bosses Mary and Jason Oppenheim asserted that there was plenty of evidence backing up Emma's version of events. During the May 6 reunion, Jason confirmed that there was "no place" for Christine at the brokerage. While it’s still unclear whether the accusations of Christine bribing a client are true, the show's reigning villain has been very outspoken about her version of events. Christine has denied sabotaging Emma since the beginning.

With so much happening in the aftermath of Selling Sunset season 5, it’s unclear what role Christine will play in the upcoming season of the reality TV hit. It looks like fans will have to wait until Netflix makes an official announcement regarding season 6 production to find out more about Christine and her future on the series. In the meantime, they can look forward to binging Selling Sunset's latest spin-off, Selling The OC, a reality show highlighting Jason and Brett Oppenheim’s brokerage in Newport Beach, set to air later this year.
