Fans who are still having doubts about whether Selling Sunset’s leading ladies are actually licensed real estate agents, we’ve got you covered. From who was the first co-star to get their California real estate licenses to who was the last, Screen Rant has all the facts to shut down Chrissy Teigen’s viral tweet

Ever since Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to talk about Selling Sunset, everyone can’t stop talking about the show and more importantly the validity of the realtors. The model and social media queen tweeted about whether or not the luxe agents were indeed actually realtors, which caused fans (and the media) to go wild with speculations.

So of course almost every realtor of The Oppenheim Group, from Heather Rae Young to Chrishell Stause, has responded to the tweet’s false statements. Some found it funny and flattering, such as Stause who then tried to sell Teigen a house, while others were a little taken aback, like Young who stated that the model could look up her license for proof. Even president and founder, Jason Oppenheim came forward to set the record straight in a public statement saying that his fellow Selling Sunset co-stars have “50 years of combined” work experience in the real estate industry. Even though so many cast members have addressed the rumors, some fans are still not totally sold and need some more facts. If you still have doubts, here’s exactly when all the girls from Selling Sunset got their real estate licenses.

Based on legal documents from the State of California, the cast member who has been in the real estate business the longest is Davina Potratz. She got her license back in 2006, but didn’t start working for Jason until much later. Mary Fitzgerald got her licenses just two years later in 2008 and was one of the first of the realtors to join The Oppenheim Group. Maybe that’s the real reason why she gets so many listings from Jason? Maya Vander then got her real estate licenses in 2011 and shortly after Heather Rae Young got hers in 2014. In 2016, both Christine Quinn and Chrishell Stause became licensed and in 2020 Amanza Smith went from being an interior designer to a licensed agent.

So, based off of these documents we think we can finally put the rumors to bed about the status of these real estate agents. Also, maybe in the future one of these highly credible real estate agents can actually sell Chrissy Teigen another house in the luxe Hollywood Hills area. Fans would totally eat that episode up.
