Brett and Jason Oppenheim are back on the market after breaking up with their respective girlfriends Tina Louise and Chrishell Stause, and there's a reason why the Selling Sunset stars prefer living this bachelor lifestyle. The twin brothers and real estate brokers have it all: a successful business, beautiful women representing their real estate firm, and a popular reality show on Netflix following their entrepreneurial endeavors. Alas, neither brother has someone to share their success with. After Chrishelle broke up with Jason and Tina decided to end things with Brett, the brothers' preference for the single life has become more evident.

Chrishell and Jason were the first couple to part ways. The Selling Sunset stars shared statements confirming their split and hinted at what caused it. Their differences came from Chrishelle's desire to have children, which isn't something Jason is ready for. Once the pair announced their split, it got Tina to start questioning Brett about starting a family. It turned out that the twin brothers share the same views on having children: they're just not up for it right now. With Chrishell and Tina wanting to have kids before their biological clocks kick in, the two ladies decided to end their relationships with the Oppenheim Group owners.

When looking at Jason and Brett's bachelor lifestyles, it's understandable why they prefer not to have kids. As successful brokers, they are both in their prime when it comes to handling their finances and acquiring assets. As of 2021, both Jason and Brett are reportedly worth $50 million each. Jason was the brains behind the operation as he opened his namesake real estate firm years ago. Then, Brett eventually joined him for the ride. The twins have become the face of the Oppenheim Group that secured its own reality show on Netflix. While raising kids can be fun, it's not the best when you're focused on growing a business. It's likely that Jason and Brett aren't ready for the sacrifice that comes along with having children. They would rather sacrifice that time into making money.

Jason Brett From Selling Sunset

Last month, the Selling Sunset spin-off Selling the OC was announced. It's set to premiere sometime next year, as the Oppenheim Group opened its Orange County office in 2021. The outpost currently has around 20 agents, and the brokerage has closed over $100 million in transactions since its launch. The Oppenheim Group is the second-largest Los Angeles-based firm to open a firm in Orange County. With more money being made and another firm and show to focus on, the Oppenheim twins aren't ready to start having kids right now.

Chrishell hinted at the increased amount of time that men are afforded when it comes to starting a family. "Men have the luxury of time that women don't and that's just the way it goes," Chrishell said in her breakup statement. While Jason and Brett are both in good places with their exes, it still shows a lack of commitment on their part. The Selling Sunset stars appear to prefer living the bachelor life over becoming family men. Having kids isn't for everyone. Apparently, it's not for the Oppenheim brothers. They look like they still want to be bachelors for a while.
