The finale of Selling Sunset season 2 revealed that the production of season 3 is already done, and Netflix announced that the new season is set to premiere in August. While watching the preview, the audience got to know that the new season is going to revolve around Chrishell and his actor husband's unexpected divorce. The real estate agent was a stepmother to Justin’s 15-year-old daughter, Isabella Hartley, whose life revolves around high school and her pals.
This Is Us star Justin had Isabella from his first marriage with actress Lindsay Hartley. The couple got married in 2004 and, unfortunately, got divorced in 2012. Since then, the duo has been co-parenting their teenage child. In October 2017, Chrishell got married to Justin, and just after two years, he filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. There were reports that the 38-year-old realtor was planning to have a child, but her then-husband had some other plans. At the time of separation, the couple didn’t have any children together. However, the Days Of Our Lives actress shared a great relationship with her teenage stepdaughter.
While walking down the aisle, Chrishell stopped in between and hugged Isabella, who was both flower girl and ring bearer. It seems like they had an ideal mother-daughter relationship. In a media interview, Stause said, “If a child has divorced parents, the best thing you can do is help add stability to their lives.” Well, it is somewhat true but too bad, the couple couldn’t go a long way together. Before the divorce, Chrishell and Isabella were spotted making frequent appearances at various functions, award ceremonies, and family dinners. The 43-year-old actor may come across as a player on-screen, but he is a really doting father in real life. He takes out as much time as he can from his hectic schedule for his only child. He loves hanging out with his young girl while doing different activities together like going for a walk, swimming, reading, or surfing Instagram. Justin is on good terms with his ex-wife Lindsay, and he is really thankful for the fact that she is super smart, understanding, and resourceful when it comes to co-parenting.
Now that his adorable daughter has stepped into the dating world, he has become very protective of her. He feels anxious and uncomfortable about this recent change but still supports it. He said, “She’s dating a little bit, and I just want to crawl into a hole and die. I know it’s a natural thing, it’s a healthy thing. She’s wonderful, she’s sweet, she’s responsible, she’s great, she’s earned the trust, but I hate it.”
Even though Justin and the Selling Sunset star are no longer togehter, it seems that Justin is going to continue to focus on his daughter. One thing is for sure, Isabella is so lucky to have a loving father like Justin. God bless them!
