Spider-Man: Miles Morales takes place in Harlem New York, and it has never looked so beautiful in a game. The graphics are stunning and the detail gives life to uptown Manhattan in a way no video game has ever done before. There are many locations and cues emphasized on during Miles' mission that highlight some cultural aspects pretty predominant in New York City. One specific mechanic would be the ability to take selfies. Video games have persistently included a photo mode in order to provide players a better way to take in-game screenshots. Since next-gen consoles are once again upping the ante in power and graphics, video games have begun to take a newer sense of life-like realism. Spider-Man is all about flashy moves and techniques during combat so the sheer number of opportunities to take breath-taking photos is almost unreal.

First, to access photo mode, players should press the options button and scroll down to "photo mode". Clicking on it will open up a small window to the bottom right while clearing the rest of the screen of anything else besides what's happening in-game. In the small box, there are multiple sections or menus to adjust and alter multiple settings. In the first menu at the very top of the list, there should be an option that says "camera type". Use the D-pad to shuffle through the camera types and set it to "Selfie".

Fortunately, if players want to take a picture as soon as possible, Photo Mode can be mapped to one of the quick options on the D-Pad, left or right. Just head to the settings menu and to controls and there should be an option to map photo mode onto the controller for instant access. Players can manipulate lighting, change suits and Miles' facial expressions to further personalize their photos. Stickers are also included.
