It eats fans up when a series ends and they still don’t get answers to questions they’ve had at the back of their minds. In the case of Seinfeld, the show might have purposefully left fans wanting more when the finale aired. We actually did get some resolution with the reunion episode in Curb Your Enthusiasm, although that follow-up itself raised some additional questions as well.

In this list, we’ll be bringing up questions that relate personally to the main characters and the storylines that surrounded them. In case you’ve been wondering about Seinfeld characters yourself, check out these 10 questions and see if you have the same queries.

How Does Kramer Really Earn His Income?

Just like it’s been a mystery as to how Kramer managed to get a large variety of women to date him, the same goes for his income stream. He revealed he’d been on a strike for a decade at one point and returned to work, but how was he getting by in between?

While Kramer basically lived at Jerry’s, he never asked Jerry for loans, and was always well off on his own. His exploits with characters like Bob Sacramento might indicate Kramer had his hand in various dealings, but we’re still curious how exactly he was earning money.

Why Didn't George Stick With The Opposite?

We’ve mentioned this a few times before when discussing the things that don’t make sense about the show, and we’ll ask again as to why George let go of a sure thing. That’s because, for once in his life, things were going his way, no catches involved.

The time when he was going against his instincts was perhaps the one time we had a confident George who was a real go-getter and genuinely happy. And yet, he stopped this practice completely not long after, even wondering why he failed in life despite having the answer to success. What exactly happened for him to stop doing the opposite?

Why Does Elaine Keep Hanging Around With The Guys?

We know that Jerry liked having these guys as his friends because he could get material out of them and feel important; Kramer had a bunch of other friends; George had no options. However, we need to question why Elaine stuck with these guys.

After all, she was the one person in the group who regularly voiced her contempt about hanging around with them. Furthermore, she been shown around a bunch of other female friends. So, was there a specific reason that Elaine was stuck with these dudes whom she wasn’t very fond of in the first place?

What Became Of Jerry's Relationship With His Daughter?

Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Seinfeld reunion episode established that Jerry had provided his sperm to Elaine in order for her to have a child, the result being a daughter. By the end of that episode, the little girl had learned he was the father, although Jerry was very uncomfortable with this knowledge.

This was too much of a bombshell for fans to ignore, and there are even calls for another reunion just so that we can learn what became of this child and Jerry’s newfound parental responsibility. Over a decade later, the question still remains if Jerry did become a real father or just ran away from it.

What Did The Main Characters Do In Jail?

The highly divisive finale ended with the main characters all heading off to jail for a year, with there being no indication of what would become of them. While the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode showed them a decade later, our question is what these guys did while they were in there.

Knowing this group, there wasn’t anything good they would be up to in prison during their stay, and it seems too significant of an event to go unaddressed. There are multiple questions here, ranging from if Kramer made any friends in jail, or if Jerry did finally get the other inmates to laugh at his jokes.

Did George Get Back Together With His Wife?

In the same reunion episode on Curb Your Enthusiasm, George is revealed to have become a millionaire and lost his money in his divorce. By the end of the episode, though, he’s shown to have gotten back with his wife, with the condition in place being that he sign a prenuptial agreement.

With George, there’s no way it would be a sure thing if he went through with it, as the battle between him wanting his money back and having to sign away his self-respect would eat him up inside. Here’s hoping we find out if George could manage to go through with it.

How Did Elaine Get Out Of The Lawsuit?

For a sitcom, continuity was surprisingly a strong point in Seinfeld as events from previous episodes would come back to haunt the characters in the future. For a while, this was the case with the delivery boy Ping’s lawsuit against Elaine, only for it to disappear all of a sudden.

Considering Elaine was beside herself with worry that Ping would win the case, we’d like answers over how she went about convincing Ping to drop the charges against her. Or, did she end up paying Ping to get him off her back? There are still quite a few questions involving this scenario and nothing to indicate what became of it.

How Does George's Vision Work?

George was shown to be almost blind without his glasses and mistook Jerry’s girlfriend kissing a horse for kissing his cousin Jeffrey. At one point, though, he was able to use his powers of “squinting” to make out things other couldn’t.

However, George then went back to being unreliable with his vision, making the whole thing a cause for debate if he really could squint well. Our inquiry in this matter has to do with asking the limits to George’s squinting ability and where it begins or ends.

How Did The Guys Get Over Their Crush On Elaine?

After Elaine left a seductive message to Jerry while masquerading as another woman, the guys all became attracted to her voice. Eventually, they all started crushing after her once they found out she behind the whole thing.

The next episode, though, they all went back to treating her the way they did before with no mention over how their crushes subsided. More than Kramer and Jerry, we’d like to ask the showrunners how George got over his attraction to Elaine, seeing as it was such a difficulty for him to get over her in the episode.

What Became Of "Jerry?"

Jerry siting back with his feet up on the table in Seinfeld

The only time we ever saw Jerry give effort toward anything other than facts about Superman was when he and George were developing Jerry, which was supposed to take off in the finale episode before they got arrested.

Out of every other question, this is our biggest one as it represented George and Jerry’s greatest achievement, and would’ve also changed the dynamic between all friends as the two were supposed to be moving to L.A.. So, did George and Jerry manage to get the show made, after all? And what did Kramer and Elaine do in the interim if Jerry was on air?
