But while there are many conversations and phrases that fans have long since committed to memory, there are some jokes on the show that get lost. With so many funny moments and such intelligent dialogue, that makes sense, Here are 10 jokes on Seinfeld that everyone completely missed.

"I like to get the Daily News."

George looking serious on Seinfeld

When Kramer asks George, "Do you have any conceivable reason for even getting up in the morning?" George makes a hilarious joke: "I like to get the Daily News."

The simplicity of this joke is what makes it so great. It's not what we're expecting George to say, either. Someone else would probably make a comment about loving their morning coffee or looking forward to breakfast or enjoying their job. But not George. He's focused on the newspaper, and since we know that he struggles in pretty much every aspect of his life and daily routine, we totally believe him that this is the best part of his day and perhaps even his reason for being.

"Why does Radio Shack ask for your phone number when you buy batteries? I don't know."

Kramer in Seinfeld

This is one of Kramer's best jokes and it's an underrated one. It's easy to see why this joke has gotten lost in the midst of his silly actions over the course of the show.

As far as Kramer's quotes joke, this one is pretty mild. It's about Radio Shack, not something totally nuts and off-the-wall. He's not scheming and he's not coming up with a new (and weird) business plan. He's saying something that's pretty logical. Why does a store need your phone number? That seems even crazier by today's standards when we do so much shopping online.

"I don't know. I'm obsessed with it. It's like a spider in the toilet struggling for survival. And even if you know it's not going to make it, you kind of root for it for a second."

jerry and elaine on seinfeld

Jerry and Elaine are discussing why Jerry is basically spying on the restaurant in his neighborhood in the episode "The Cafe," and Jerry makes this joke. It's another hilarious line on Seinfeld that everyone completely missed because it's not as famous as his other observations or his stand-up comedy.

Jerry's analogy about spiders in toilets is spot-on and another perfect example of why this show just gets it. Sure, this conversation topic might seem super small and insignificant, but in the "show about nothing," everything is fair game when it comes to talking about why we act the way that we do. We've all been unable to look away from someone or something in our neighborhood.

"No, not for me. A little too delightful."

Kramer wants Jerry to wear underwear that is made of silk material, and Jerry's not having it. Instead of simply saying no or that it's not his thing, Jerry makes this hilarious joke. The "delightful"

It's another Seinfeld joke that everyone completely missed because it's such a random thing to say and it definitely gets lost in the sea of other clever observations.

"You think I tell Jerry everything? It's not like he's my wife."

Jerry and Jason talking at the diner in Seinfeld

George has so many hilarious lines, and this is one of his best although it's definitely one that many fans missed. While George and Jerry often have a pretty immature way of viewing relationships (and they sometimes focus on how a woman looks instead of anything else about her), this is actually a pretty smart thing that George has said.

It's nice to imagine a world where George gets married and spills every secret and detail of his life to his wife. It sounds so lovely. Of course, we don't know if that will ever happen, especially since George has such bad luck when it comes to his dating life.

"I'm a great quitter. It's one of the few things I do well..."

George looking serious on Seinfeld

I come form a long line of quitters. My father was a quitter, my grandfather was a quitter... I was raised to give up.

Who hasn't thought this before? This is one of George's quotes that people can nod along with, and it's also a Seinfeld joke that many people missed.

Fans are used to George saying that he has bad luck or that he's not getting anywhere or that he's too tired to even try. But there's something special about this particular quote, probably because he's attempting to find a reason for why he is the way that he is.

"Like going to the bathroom in front of a whole bunch of people and not caring."

george on seinfeld

When Jerry mentions that things are going well in the bedroom with his new love interest, George makes this joke. Jerry replies, "It's not like that at all!" (which is exactly what we're thinking).

Since the two friends talk about their love lives and the last date that they went on so often, it's easy for this particular joke to get lost in the shuffle. Only George would make this kind of observation. He says the strangest things sometimes (but that's why he's so beloved).

"I'll go if I don't have to talk."

Jerry and Elaine at a diner together on Seinfeld

Elaine says this when she and Jerry are discussing going to a cafe in an early episode of Seinfeld. Jerry says, "We could go to one of those cappuccino places. They let you just sit there" and Elaine asks, "What are we gonna do there, talk?"

Elaine actually says that "I'll go if I don't have to talk" which is such a classic Elaine statement. While at first glance this might sound ridiculous, we also totally get it. You don't always want to talk. Sometimes you just want to sit with someone, drink some good coffee, and chill.

"I had a dream last night that a hamburger was eating me."

jerry seinfeld

This is another Seinfeld joke that everyone completely missed. It would be easy to forget hearing Jerry make this joke since it's such a random, silly thing.

This definitely sounds like a pretty bad nightmare. Now if Jerry had dreamt that he was eating a burger and not the other way around, that would be another story. (Hopefully with bacon and cheese on top... and maybe some avocado, too...)

"Those belong to people."

Jerry and George sitting at Monk's restaurant talking on Seinfeld

Jerry and George are always having ridiculous discussions and this is one of the best. It's also one that some fans might have missed.

When George says, "Who buys an umbrella anyway? You can get them for free at the coffee shop in those metal cans" Jerry says, "Those belong to people." Like always, Jerry has great comedic timing and he knows just the right way to respond to his silly friend. While it would be really great if George was right and cafes did give out free umbrellas, unfortunately, that's just not the case.
