Auralee Briney was shown as one of the wives of Drew Briney during season 1 of Seeking Sister Wife and here’s everything to know about the former reality TV personality. Since her time on the series, not much information has been released on her life. But still, there are a few fun facts about her in the depths of her formerly used social media.

Auralee is Drew’s second wife. Because she grew up in a plural family, she was familiar with the lifestyle and like other Seeking Sister Wife stars, chose to embrace polygamy as an adult. Drew said she was always a comfort to him, and called her the type of person he wants to come home to after a long day.

When they first met, Auralee said he swept her off her feet and eight months later, they got married. Together, they have six kids named Laurelei, Josiah, Benjamin, Noah, Evelia and Malachi.

Auralee is no longer active on social media

Auralee has an Instagram but she hasn’t made any posts in over a year. From her posts on the Briney Instagram, it’s known that the family — which consisted of Drew, his third wife Angela, and April, who left Seeking Sister Wife and the relationship — used to have a blog, but the link is no longer active. The last photo she posted on Instagram was during July 2020, a selfie where she told all her mom followers that they deserve a good night's sleep. Before this, she doesn’t appear to have used her Instagram frequently as she only has eight posts between 2018 and 2020. She said her passion is singing with freedom and she’s taken vocal classes as she posted about her teacher’s online master class.

Auralee has a speech impediment

Seeking Sister Wife Auralee Briney

When she first appeared on Seeking Sister Wife, Auralee told the cameras about her speech problem. She said she has a lisp, though fans have pointed out her impediment is more of a rhotacism, given that she mispronounces her “R”s and those with lisps misarticulate the letter “S.” Not every viewer was particularly kind when discussing the way she speaks. Seeking Sister Wife fans took to Twitter to make comments on her voice. “Auralee’s lisp makes her sound like a toddler,” one Twitter user (@AndreaBham) said. Another tweeted, “Man #auralee speech is annoying, tryna cover it up by saying she has a lisp #seekingsisterwife all ur S's are regular. U need speech therapy.” (@TheGirlNxtD00r). Regardless of what people say, Auralee doesn’t seem to be bothered by her voice. In fact, she tells people it’s a Danish accent which, she says, makes it “more interesting.”

Auralee has partnered with helpful organizations

In 2019 she promoted information on how to support those affected by Hurricane Dorian. She and her family partnered with Caring Hands and the Convoy of Hope, which reported 7 billion dollars in damages from the hurricane. She was also part of the Rise Above 4 Campaign, along with business-owner Angela, a movement that helps put an end to financial stress. She said they started with a broken apart family, struggling with depression and anxiety and stressed with a loss of income. After help from the organization, she said their dreams came true and that they were living their best life and heading towards a road of financial security. The Rise Above 4 organization says that four in 10 households cannot afford a $400 emergency. Together they are known to bring people together through peace of mind and unity.

Auralee is not in the spotlight now the way she used to be, so it's unknown what this Seeking Sister Wife star is up to in 2021. Her Facebook is still up, despite not having been updated in years, and her bio says she wants to "inspire people to reach their full potential." So whatever Auralee is doing, hopefully she's continuing to help others.
