Marvel Studios's first new Phase 5 show Secret Invasion has released a new trailer. Phase 5 is finally underway, following the arrival of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Outside of the films, there will be several MCU shows on Disney+ to help flesh out the Multiverse Saga. Secret Invasion is one of the first Disney+ dramas to premiere this year. The MCU is adapting it as a series based on the iconic Marvel storyline. Samuel L. Jackson is back as Nick Fury, making this the first proper MCU project to be headlined by the iconic actor.

The last time new footage for Secret Invasion was released was in 2022, as Nick returned to Earth. Finally, after a long wait, Marvel Studios has debuted a new Secret Invasion trailer.

Secret Invasion features the return of Cobie Smulders' Maria Hill and Ben Mendelsohn's Talos, among many more. Similar to other MCU shows, Secret Invasion consists of six episodes.

Everything Revealed In The Secret Invasion Trailer

Secret Invasion Nick Fury Skrull Cemetary Cropped

Very similar to the first Secret Invasion trailer, the new footage highlights Nick's mission. However, the former SHIELD director is determined to take this battle on all by himself. As Nick becomes a wanted man, the Secret Invasion trailer sees him having to build up a team. Olivia Coleman and Emilia Clarke's Secret Invasion characters are heavily highlighted in the trailer too.

Coleman, who is playing Sonya Falsworth, is seen throughout the footage having a deep conversation with Nick. Based on the dialogue, Secret Invasion will explore their past dynamic to some degree. Clarke's G'iah also gets to show off her skills in the field while still being a big mystery in the story. The teaser also gives another glimpse of the Skrulls.

While Nick frames this as his last fight, Jackson is far from done with the MCU. Nick will next be seen in The Marvels, which arrives towards the end of the year. Given what happens in Secret Invasion, it'll be intriguing to see how this changes Nick's MCU arc forever.
