The first trailer for Scream 6 made some big story reveals, including that the new Ghostface killer(s) has a shrine with lots of objects related to the past Ghostface killings – and here’s what can be seen in it. Following the success of Scream (2022), the franchise continues riding the wave of reboots and “requels” and is now preparing for the release of Scream 6. This new story is doing things differently by taking the characters to New York City, and it’s the first one without the franchise’s Final Girl, Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), leading the story.

Scream 6, then, follows the survivors of the latest Ghostface killings in Woodsboro – Sam (Melissa Barrera), Tara (Jenna Ortega), Mindy (Jasmin Savoy-Brown), and Chad (Mason Gooding) – as the move to New York City to start a new chapter, but they still won’t be able to escape from a new Ghostface killer. Although they will count on the help of Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) and Kirby Reed (Hayden Panettiere), this new Ghostface is unlike any other as they are a lot more brutal and they know a bit too much about the past killers and murders, to the point where they have a shrine dedicated to them – and here’s every Easter egg and costume that can be seen in Scream 6’s shrine.

14 Every Ghostface Costume

Scream 6 shrine Ghostface costumes

Of course, the items that stand out the most in the shrine are the costumes of all nine Ghostface killers so far: Billy Loomis, Stu Macher, Nancy Loomis, Mickey Altieri, Roman Bridger, Jill Roberts, Charlie Walker, Amber Freeman, and Richie Kirsch. At the center is Billy’s costume, which for some reason is kept in a glass case, while the rest are just on display without any sort of protection, and each one has the name of the killer who wore the costume. Scream 6’s killer will be the tenth one (and eleventh, supposing there are two killers again) to wear the Ghostface mask, and seeing how invested they are in the history of the Woodsboro murders, they might be looking to surpass everything the previous killers did by analyzing every single one of their moves.

It’s worth pointing out that the costumes are arranged as if they were part of a cult, which could point at there not only being two killers but maybe more, as well as followers that would continue the Ghostface legacy if their current leader(s) are killed. Number nine is a representation of completion but not a final ending, which in Scream 6 and Ghostface’s case, could be all about a new generation of more violent, obsessed fanatic Ghostface killers taking over the franchise.

13 Steve Orth’s Letterman Jacket

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Steve jacket

One of the most interesting Easter eggs in Scream 6’s shrine is Steve Orth’s letterman jacket. Steve Orth was Casey Becker’s boyfriend and the first on-screen victim of Ghostface in Scream. Billy and Stu tied him up to a chair and duct taped him so he couldn’t scream nor move, and after Casey failed to answer a question about Friday the 13th, Steve was killed in front of her. Steve’s jacket in Scream 6’s shrine appears on a mannequin sitting on a chair, replicating his death scene.

12 Tatum Riley’s Outfit

Next to Steve’s jacket is the outfit that Tatum Riley (Rose McGowan) was wearing when Ghostface killed her in Scream. Tatum was Sidney’s best friend and Dewey’s sister, as well as Stu’s girlfriend, and she had one of the strangest yet most brutal deaths in the franchise. Tatum was killed at Stu’s house during a party, where she was cornered by Ghostface in the garage. Tatum tried to escape through the garage door’s pet door, only to be crushed as Ghostface lifted the door. Tatum was wearing a green top and an orange miniskirt, which are on display at the shrine.

11 Billy Loomis’ Clothes

On the left side, closer to the display of costumes, is Billy Loomis’ t-shirt. Billy Loomis was wearing a white t-shirt when he revealed himself as the Ghostface killer and thus was the same one he was wearing when he was killed. It’s the same t-shirt Billy wore in Scream 2022 when he appeared to Sam, so seeing it at the shrine will surely be quite shocking for Sam.

10 Stu's Red Robe & The Infamous TV

Right next to Billy's bloody t-shirt is the red robe Stu wore in Scream. The final showdown between Ghostface and Sidney, and the big reveal of Stu and Billy as the killers, happened at Stu's house after a party. Channeling his inner Hugh Hefner, Stu wore a red robe during the party, but he took it off once it was over. Inside the glass case next to Billy's t-shirt, the TV that crushed his head at the end of Scream can also be seen.

9 Kenny's Cap

In front of Stu and Billy's clothes, next to Tatum's outfit, there's a mannequin wearing a cap backwards. This most likely belonged to Kenny, Gale's cameraman who followed her around in Scream and was killed by Ghostface outside Stu's house while trying to help Sidney escape.

8 Scream 2's Agamemnon Play

There are a couple of props from the Agamemnon play from Scream 2. The second movie took place at Windsor College, where Sidney had the lead role in the aforementioned play. Sidney was tormented by Ghostface during a rehearsal, and her boyfriend Derek was later crucified in a sun prop (on the left side of the image) before being shot in front of Sidney.

7 Nancy Loomis’ Outfit

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Mrs Loomis

Next to the glass case where the phone is, is a two-piece female white suit, just like the one Mrs. Loomis (Laurie Metcalf) was wearing in Scream 2. Loomis adopted the identity of Debbie Salt and posed as a local journalist in order to get closer to Sidney and Gale and thus put her revenge plan into motion with the help of Mickey Altieri (Timothy Olyphant), Sidney’s classmate. Nancy Loomis was wearing a white suit when she was killed by Cotton Weary (Liev Schreiber), with Sidney later shooting her in the head to make sure she was really dead.

6 Props From The Stab Movies

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Stab props

On both sides of the shot are glass cases containing props from the Stab movies, the fictional series of slasher movies in the Scream franchise that were based on the original Woodsboro Murders. Among the props that can be briefly seen in the Scream 6 trailer are a Ghostface mask, a poster, a knife, a clapperboard (apparently from the first Stab movie), and a film reel. These are also a reference to Scream 3’s killer Roman Bridger (Scott Foley), who was directing Stab 3 but turned his focus to his revenge plan against Sidney, who was revealed to be his half-sister. Some of Gale's books can also be seen on display, as these were part of the inspiration for the Stab movies.

5 Scream 3's Fax Machine

To the left of Mrs. Loomis' outfit, there's a glass case with what looks to be the fax machine from Scream 3. In one of the most memorable scenes from Scream 3, Dewey, Gale, Angelina, Jennifer, and Tom are being haunted by Ghostface, who after turning the power off, starts sending them messages through the fax machine before blowing the house up through a gas leak. Tom died in the explosion, but the fax machine survived.

4 Olivia Morris’ Outfit

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Olivia Scream 4

Before the Scream 6 trailer shows the full shrine, there’s a brief look at Dermot Mulroney, and behind him is Olivia Morris’ (Mariele Jaffe) outfit. Olivia appeared in Scream 4, and she was Jill (Emma Roberts) and Kirby’s friend, and she was killed by Ghostface in her bedroom, with Jill and Kirby witnessing the massacre from across the street. The grey, long-sleeved shirt Olivia was wearing when she was killed is on display at the shrine.

3 Jill Roberts’ Clothes

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Jill Roberts outfit

The first outfit on display in the wide shot of the shrine is none other than Jill Roberts’. Jill was Scream 4’s killer along with Charlie Walker (Rory Culkin), and she was also Sidney’s cousin. Jill was wearing a blue flannel shirt and khaki skinny pants when she revealed to Sidney that she was the killer, and it was the same outfit she was wearing when the police arrived at Kirby’s house and took her to the hospital. However, it wasn’t the outfit she was wearing when she died, as she was killed by Gale and Sidney at the hospital, and she was wearing a hospital gown.

2 A Sketch of Kirby & Ghostface

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Kirby sketch

Various sketches can be seen in the glass cases all over the shrine, but the only distinguishable one is on the left side of the screen, and it seems to be Kirby and Ghostface, with another strange figure below. It’s possible that Scream 6’s killer has sketches of every survivor (and victims too, perhaps) and the Ghostface killer that attacked them, or they are obsessed with Kirby and her survival story.

1 A Woodsboro Officer’s Uniform

Scream 6 Ghostface shrine Woodsboro officer

Back to the shot of Dermot Mulroney’s character, next to Olivia’s clothes, is the uniform of a Woodsboro Officer. Now, while the first character to come to mind might be Dewey, he wasn’t attacked by Ghostface while wearing his uniform, and the one at the shrine is covered in blood. The uniform most likely belongs to either Deputy Hoss (Adam Brody) or Deputy Anthony Perkins (Anthony Anderson), both killed in Scream 4 while on patrol outside Jill’s house.
