After enjoying a few months in Miami, Scott Disick is reportedly gearing up for another relocation to New York. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is also bringing his girlfriend Amelia Hamlin along with him for his summer escape out East. The couple has been eyeing homes in the ritzy Hamptons community as Scott appears to be moving further away from Los Angeles.
Scott and Amelia are still going strong despite all the criticism over their 18-year age gap. While celebrating Scott's 37th birthday, Amelia professed her love for the father of three telling him, "You light up my life, and make my world better." For her 20th birthday a few weeks later, Scott gifted her with a giant personalized cake and a diamond necklace. Since going public last fall, Scott and Amelia have appeared inseparable. Their romance came just a few months before Kourtney Kardashian confirmed her relationship with Travis Barker. As Kourtney and Travis's relationship continues to get more serious, Scott is keeping Amelia by his side and hinting at how well things are going for the pair.
Now, it's said that Amelia is "embracing" the time she spends with Scott and his three children as the couple prepares for a move to New York. "They are in the process of scouting places and seeing what their options are," a source told E! News. It's said Scott and Amelia are considering relocating to the Hamptons, a NY hotspot during the summer months. But life in New York will take Scott even further away from his kids, who live in Los Angeles with Kourtney. However, insiders say Scott isn't worried about the distance because the kids will travel regularly to spend time with their dad. "The kids will definitely visit and spend time there," the source added.
As for Scott and Amelia, they "are doing really well," the source said. "Despite the age gap, they truly have a lot in common. No one thought it would last this long, but it just works." The two first stepped out together last October when they attended Kendall Jenner's birthday party. It's said Scott's ex Sofia Richie was also in attendance. But she has since moved on with music executive Elliot Grainge. With Amelia being the new leading lady in Scott's life, she has had to adjust to life with an older man with three kids. "Amelia has been able to spend more time with the kids recently and is embracing it. She's learning a lot," the source added.
With her being so young with no kids of her own, playing a motherly role is extremely new. But she is open to the new dynamic. "It's definitely a whole new world for her, but she loves being around them and is grateful she gets to have this experience," the source explained. "She thinks they are amazing and is really good with them," the insider said. "Her and Scott love planning fun activities with them." The group has been spotted at family dinner dates during Scott's time living in Miami. It looks like they'll be enjoying more family moments on the East Coast, just in colder weather.
