Scott Disick of Keeping Up With the Kardashians made waves when he slid into Love Island UK star Megan Barton Hanson's DMs on Instagram, but not for the reason you'd expect. The Love Island star was left speechless by the strange message.
Sofia Richie and Scott Disick's breakup became official this summer after Scott's stint in rehab. After being seen with model Bella Banos and sparking speculation about a renewed relationship with his ex, Kourtney Kardashian, Scott is now dating 19-year-old Amelia Hamlin. Amelia is the daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna and actor Harry Hamlin. Scott has been known to date young models, despite the large age gap. Scott turned 39 this year but Sofia Richie was also 19 when they started dating and is now 21. The reactions to Scott's new relationship have been mixed. Lisa Rinna said she thinks it's just a phase for her daughter, while Kourtney Kardashian posted on Instagram that she was "not ok."
Megan Barton Hanson, star of Love Island season four, posted an exchange she had with Scott on Instagram. He DM'ed her, "Hey I recently saw your program love island. I had a few questions for you about it. Let me know you're around to speak about it." Megan responded, "Hey you.. what do you want to know? x." This is where their conversation got a bit odd. Scott wrote, "I was recently introduced to a beautiful man named Eyal. When I went to see what he's done on TV I was astonished by your behavior. To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humor and vulnerability. I'm extremely disturbed that anybody could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason. I would like to know if you'd be willing to write him an apology." He then referenced her saying that Eyal isn't exactly Jim Carrey when questioning their compatibility, writing, "the fact that you told him he wasn't funny - when in fact you are not Jim Carrey is absurd." On the show, which took place in 2018, Megan coupled up with Eyal Booker for her first week on the island. She quickly ended their relationship, but was seen as a villain for sleeping with him before their breakup. Megan later coupled up with Wes Nelson, and the two dated for several months after the show.
Eyal is now dating Delilah Belle Hamlin, sister of Amelia Hamlin. It appears Amelia introduced Scott to her sister and her boyfriend, after which Scott decided to watch Love Island. Megan was left stunned by Scott's response and posted the full message on her Instagram story, commenting, "Its not often I'm left speechless but.. sorry!? What have I just read? Genuinely a little concerned about Scott tho."
Scott's behavior is often under question from the Kardashians and the press. His two trips to rehab also put some suspicion on what is causing his strange behavior. Regardless of how odd Megan and Scott's conversation was, we have learned one good thing – Scott and Eyal get along great!
