The text exchanges have apparently been an ongoing thing since their breakup, hinting that the two just might not be over each other quite yet. In fact, some of their friends believe the couple might be getting back together sometime soon.
Scott and Sofia had been dating for three years prior to their recent breakup, which happened late last month. The news came after Scott reportedly spent some time in a treatment facility after the quarantine reportedly had an impact on his mental health, potentially surfacing old habits he's worked hard to avoid. Apparently, things have been a little bit rocky recently while in isolation.
Despite only being broken up for less than a week, Scott and Sofia couldn't seem to keep to themselves as they quickly started texting yet again. According to a source (via Cosmopolitan), Scott and Sofia are definitely broken up, which is why the communication between the two of them is raising a few eyebrows from confused fans. However, those fans all share some hope of the two getting back together - a sentiment shared by the famous couple's own friends. It isn't known what's contained within these messages, but if their friends are thinking they could be getting back together, there certainly must not be any hostility.
Sofia's separation from Scott was apparently done so that the model could focus on herself and "do her own thing" while Scott focuses on getting healthy. Just last summer, the two of them were discussing the possibility of getting engaged but that didn't pan out. But there's no official word yet on if the two are getting back together or not. In fact, there have been rumors floating around lately that Scott and ex-wife Kourtney Kardashian could be giving their relationship another try. This news got out just as Scott was seen with Kourtney, vacationing together - just after the public became aware of Scott and Sofia breaking up. A previous source also reported that Sofia was aware of continuous feelings between Scott and Kourtney.
It isn't known yet if these two Keeping Up with the Kardashians star are getting back together, especially since it seems evidently equally likely he's getting back together with Kourtney. Only time will tell if Scott is still interested in mending things with Sofia or if he's looking to get back with Kourtney. Scott and Kourtney were recently spotted together at Amangiri in Utah during his birthday.
