Now that Keeping Up With the Kardashians is coming to an end and Kourtney Kardashian has moved on in her love life, Scott Disick may be feeling left out of the Kardashian-Jenner family. For as long as fans can remember, Scott has been part of the cast and the family. In fact, on countless occasions, the family made immense efforts to include Scott because of his tight bond with Kourtney Kardashian and his troublesome past with his own family. In 2013, Disick lost his mom, Bonnie, and in 2014, he lost his dad, Jeffrey. He would’ve been around 30 when he lost both his parents.

Now, sources close to Disick have expressed concern, considering he doesn’t have any other family members to fall back on. He’s an only child, which left him with very few family connections. “Losing my parents is not an easy subject for me to talk about,” Scott said during an episode of KUWTK. “It puts me in a very vulnerable place to remember them and think about them.” It’s unclear why they passed, but most suspect chronic illness. Evidently, Disick struggles with the loss of his parents, which has led to issues with substance abuse. He has spent time working on himself through therapy and rehab, but he occasionally falls off the wagon.

Since Keeping Up With the Kardashians has come to an end, Scott is feeling “out of touch” with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, according to Life & Style. “Scott’s been in Miami with Amelia [Hamlin] and, honestly, things haven’t been the same since KUWTK stopped filming and Kourtney and Travis began dating,” an insider dished. “Scott feels not just disconnected from Kourtney, but also all the Kardashians. This was his biggest fear - getting out of touch with his ‘family’ and now him being on the outskirts with Kourtney is affecting him completely.”

When Kourtney began dating Travis, she set new boundaries with her ex, limiting communication to co-parenting conversations. “They talk about the kids and figure out the kids’ schedules. There’s no room for added communication at all,” a source revealed. When Kourtney dated other people, such as Younes Benjima and Luka Sabbat, things were never awkward when Scott was around on vacations or otherwise. “She’d still invite him on family vacations and Scott felt that Kourtney’s boyfriends were probably more intimidated by him and their close bond than he was of them,” the insider added. “But something’s different now.” Perhaps other Kardashians and Jenners have gotten tired of Scott’s substance abuse issues like Kourtney.

Between Keeping Up With the Kardashians ending and Kourtney’s new relationship, it’s no wonder that Scott’s feeling left out of the family. After all, the reality show and his ex-girlfriend were the two things keeping him in the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Hopefully, others find it in their hearts to include Disick and provide a new family in the future.
