Star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians Scott Disick is "taking time apart" from his girlfriend Amelia Hamlin after his feelings regarding his ex, Kourtney Kardashian's, relationship with Travis Barker came to light. The 38-year-old reality star has been linked to the daughter of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna since October 2020 when they were spotted together at Kendall Jenner's Halloween-themed birthday party. Meanwhile, Kourtney and Travis have been friends for years but took their relationship to the next level when Travis spent time at Kris Jenner's Palm Springs home in January 2021. Scott and Kourtney share three kids together: Mason Dash Disick, Penelope Scotland Disick, and Reign Aston Disick.

Though Scott and Kourtney are both involved in their own respective relationships, it seems as though Kourtney's constant displays of affection for her new man on social media rubbed Scott the wrong way. Just last week, Kourtney's other ex-boyfriend, Younes Bendjima, leaked messages he received from Scott that questioned what their mutual ex was doing with Travis in Italy. Shortly after, Amelia cryptically posted a photo of herself wearing a top that read, "Don't you have a girlfriend?"

According to E! News, all of this drama has led Scott and Amelia to "spend time apart" while they figure out the future of their relationship. "They needed a break from one another, that was clear," the insider said. "They are in different places and trying to figure out if it's time to move on and if they are really done." They continued to explain that Amelia made sure Scott knew how disappointed she is in his recent behavior.

Though Scott has yet to comment on all of the developing drama, a different source told the outlet that he's "mortified" by the alleged messages. "He had a low moment and was looking to someone who could relate to his feelings, and immediately regretted sending that message." The source continued to explain that though he's dating, he's struggling to cope with the mother of his children moving on to someone else.

It's understandable that Scott has thoughts and feelings towards Kourtney's partners of the past, present, and future since they'll be part of raising his kids, but it's hypocritical to judge every man without giving them a chance. Scott has been given space from Kourtney to move on and find love elsewhere, so she deserves that same respect. It's disappointing Keeping Up With the Kardashians fans won't see this drama play out on their television screens, but here's to hoping the drama continues when Hulu's reality cameras start recording.
