Scooby-Doo and the gang have withstood time and entertained generations of audiences. They're a beloved group of friends solving mysteries that audiences laugh at and connect with. With familiar catchphrases, unforgettable villains like the Creeper, and episode trademarks, like the creepy guys with the lanterns, the show stands out from all others.

Residents of the internet have taken the character's personalities and/or familiar symbols from the show and made memorable memes that audiences love and can certainly relate to.

When Food Is The Priority

Any money that Shaggy and Scooby have certainly goes towards food. They eat more than anyone else, possibly even more so than Joey Tribbiani on Friends. In any case, it'd be interesting to see Shaggy and Scooby challenge Joey in an all-you-can-eat contest.

Nevertheless, it's a good thing Shaggy and Scooby have the rest of the gang for transportation, as their budget doesn't exactly leave room for a gas money, let alone a vehicle.

When Senses Of Humor Collide

Scooby-Doo caters to a mostly corny sense of humor. Sometimes, even Shaggy's one-liners can't get a laugh out of Scooby, and vice versa. Audiences have their favorite jokes picked out, and others they'd rather forget.

Either way, Shaggy and Scooby have each had their moments in which they may have made themselves laugh, but failed to make others, including the rest of the gang, guffaw at their jokes.

When Remote Work Takes A Whole New Meaning

Scooby, Shaggy and the rest of the gang truly were trendsetters when it came to remote work. They were never in an office or stuck at a desk; they were always out in the field, in different towns and spooky buildings and houses. They were nomadic and often came across work while on their way to a concert or similar outings.

Their remote work is aspirational to audiences, who would no doubt love to be out and about seeing the world and getting some work done along the way.

When The Guys With The Lanterns Are Usually Bad News

In any given Scooby-Doo episode, guys with lanterns are usually the villains, as the meme depicts. Asa Shanks, pictured in the center, turned out to be after Penrod Stillwall's fortune in "The Haunted House Hang-Up", and of course, the other two are already disguised as ghosts. Plus, the gang met all three characters in the road, with the characters trying to warn the gang away from the mystery.

Usually, the guys with lanterns are after some kind of fortune too, another staple from the series. In any case, the meme's depiction is a familiar scene in the Scooby universe.

When Best Friends Try To Get In On Your Food

One of the running gags in the series is how Shaggy and Scooby take turns stealing one another's food. Sometimes they're aware of it, and sometimes they aren't. It depends on how quickly one or the other can get in a bite, or an entire sandwich, before the other notices.

Though they can get annoyed when their food is stolen by the other, they never let it get in the way of their friendship.

When Getting Lost Is Part Of The Experience

Audiences can relate to this meme; everyone has gotten lost at one time or another. Scooby and the gang have a tendency to get lost themselves. Shaggy is usually the one that leads the gang in the wrong direction; like when they ended up at Gold City in "Mine Your Own Business" as he was holding the map upside down. Yet, if they hadn't gotten lost, they wouldn't have had the adventures and solved the mysteries they did.

When Scooby & Shaggy's Culinary Palate Could Be A TikTok Challenge

It's no secret that Scooby and Shaggy love food, and not just any food. Liverwurst and ice cream and chocolate-covered corn on the cob are just the tip of the iceberg; even the gang will occasionally be grossed out when they see Shaggy's and Scooby's orders. Their pizzas can especially be topped with some odd ingredients.

Their stomachs can handle stale Scooby snacks and the hottest peppers of Louisiana, as audiences saw in Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. Food does make the best friends happy and it calms their nerves after being chased by villains like the Creeper. The adventurous eaters could certainly set up some unforgettable TikTok eating challenges.

When Scooby Will Do Anything For A Scooby Snack

If there's Scooby Snacks, Scooby never hesitates to do what is asked of him. Usually, that entails facing his biggest fears in the form of ghosts and other villains, as well as solving a mystery itself.

He'll get into tight spots, literally, and he'll follow someone for a Scooby Snack. In the above meme, audiences know Scooby would probably help hide a body in exchange for his favorite treat. It's an endearing and beloved part of his character, but in real life, it would definitely land Scooby in serious trouble.

When The Serious Crimes Were Overlooked

Many of the villains on Scooby-Doo were arrested, but some of their more serious crimes, such as attempted murder depicted in the above meme, were left out. Velma was nearly killed by a saw in "That's Snow Ghost", and The Caveman certainly didn't hesitate to try to hit the gang with his club.

Not to mention the Ghost of Zen Tuo trying to blow up Shaggy and Scooby in "Mystery Mask Mix-Up." There are plenty of instances in the series that the gang narrowly avoided certain death, and in the episode's end, the attempted murder charges weren't mentioned.
