Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? TV Show Trailer Reveals All-Star Guest Cast

The latest Scooby Doo series, Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? trailer shows some of the celebrity guests that will join the Mystery Inc gang.

The Mystery Inc. gang is coming back to television with in the Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? trailer, and they’re bringing a lot of interesting guests with them. Scooby-Doo and his friends have been jumping back and forth between television and films for years now, but the cartoons are definitely the ones that will be remembered for years to come.

The original series, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!, created by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears, aired from 1969 through 1976, and since then there have been over 10 different animated series, all under the same premise: a group of teenagers and their talking dog who solve mysteries that supposedly involve supernatural creatures. Now, the gang is coming back with a new series and a bunch of guests to add more fun (and mystery) to the mix.

The series, titled Scooby-Doo and Guess Who?, will see the Mystery Inc. group joined by different celebrity guests on each episode. A trailer has now been released and features some of these guests, including real life people such as Sia, Ricky Gervais, and Wanda Sykes, as well as fictional characters like Wonder Woman and Sherlock Holmes. Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? is the 13th animated series of the franchise, and it follows the format of the 1972 series The New Scooby-Doo Movies, which had different guest stars on each episode, such as members of the Addams Family, Dick Van Dyke, Sonny and Cher, and more. The first episode of this new series will have Houston Rockets’ Chris Paul as a guest.

The franchise is also preparing a new animated film, titled Scoob!, with Will Forte as Shaggy, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Zac Efron as Fred, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, Frank Welker reprising his role as Scooby-Doo, and Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman. The film will follow the group as they team up with other characters from the Hanna-Barbera universe, such as Captain Caveman, in order to save the world from villain Dick Dastardly (voiced by Jason Isaacs).

The Scooby-Doo franchise keeps on living thanks to its connection with fans from different generations. Whether you watched the original series at some point or met the Mystery Inc. gang thanks to Raja Gosnell’s live-action film, this group of crime solvers will always find a way to come back with new mysteries, keeping them alive in the world of pop culture.
