Scoob! features a diverse selection of songs that modernize the classic cartoon for a younger generation - so here's a breakdown of every tune on the soundtrack. Fully 3D-animated for the first time in the franchise's history, Scoob! brings the Mystery Inc. gang on an adventure that reveals where it all began and how their journey is just beginning. Scoob! counts an all-star cast, including prominent actors like High School Musical's Zac Efron and celebrity cameos like X-Factor judge Simon Cowell.

The movie reveals the emotional first encounter between a young Shaggy (Iain Armitage) and Scooby (Frank Welker) before they met the rest of the gang and founded Mystery Inc. But years later and after countless adventures together, Simon Cowell shows up to cast doubt about the involvement of Shaggy (Will Forte) and Scooby in the team. Offended, the duo drifts apart and gets recruited by Blue Falcon (Mark Wahlberg), Dynomutt (Ken Jeong), and Dee Dee Skyes (Kiersey Clemons) to fight Dick Dastardly (Jason Isaacs) and prevent him from unleashing the beastly dog Cerberus upon the world.

Young Shaggy and Scooby in Scoob

Scoob! opens with energetic shots of Venice Beach to the tune of "California Love (Remix)", which is shown to be playing on a skater's boombox as he passes by the store where Scooby is stealing from. Chased by Bike Cop Gary (Kevin Heffernan), Scooby almost runs over Shaggy, who puts on his earphones and plays "Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely". He shakes his head, plays "One", and then "Mr. Lonely". Upset at the music options, he chooses to listen to a podcast hosted by Ira Glass. After Shaggy and Scooby meet, they go trick-or-treating. The song playing at the first house is "Yikes". They meet with the gang for the first time and then comes a montage sequence with all their subsequent adventures with a revamped version of the "Scooby Doo Theme Song".

All grown up, the gang questions their future as a business. Simon Cowell arrives and Shaggy freaks out. He takes out his phone and sings a bad rendition of "Shallow" from A Star is Born, to which Cowell responds with blunt criticism. "Tick Tick Boom" plays when Shaggy and Scooby go to the bowling alley, where "Baby Talk" is playing. When they get abducted, Blue Falcon makes his dramatic entrance with "Sirius" followed by "All I Do Is Win". Missing their friends, Velma (Gina Rodriguez) shows Daphne (Amanda Seyfried) and Fred (Zac Efron) a video of the gang posing for a photo with "On Me" playing on the background. Right after, they're pulled over by Officer Jaffe (Christina Hendricks), a police officer so beautiful that "Let's Get It On" plays on Fred's head when she sees her.

Meanwhile, Dee Dee Skyes, Dynomutt, Blue Falcon, Shaggy, and Scooby head to Mystery Island to retrieve the third dog skull. This is when Dee Dee maneuvers the ship while "R.O.B." plays. After the gang defeats Cerberus and Dick Dastardly, they inaugurate the new Mystery Inc. headquarters in Venice Beach. To celebrate, Blue Falcon arrives and plays "I Fly" for everybody. Scoob!'s end credits tease more Hanna-Barbera characters while "Summer Feelings" plays, which then transitions to "On Me".
