Schitt's Creekthe Pop TV comedy about a wealthy couple and their two spoiled kids who find themselves bankrupt, comes to an end this year. The final season has promised to be a fashion feast for Moira Rose, the family matriarch, whose over-the-top outfits in her signature black and white color palette have made her beloved among fashionistas.

Moira's preposterous wigs, towering high heels, and wardrobe of couture are refreshing in a TV landscape where older women are often relegated to dowdy and unimpressive pieces. She is a fashion icon for the ages -- but it would be a lie to say that she hasn't had some misses. Below we rank ten of Moira's worst outfits that may have been better off never seeing the light of day.

The Crane Pantsuit

This pantsuit with its garish crane print may look couture, but it is, in fact, from the fast-fashion giant Zara. Between the printed culottes and shoulder-length wig with side-swept bangs, this outfit is one example of Moira's taste for severe and sculptural looks.

It might be normal to try and stand out with ever more absurd and impractical clothes in her previous life, but here in Schitt's Creek, the effort comes off as obnoxious and extra. Moira doesn't fit in, and she has no intention of even trying.

The Holiday Bow

For Christmas, Moira wore this intricate black and white print with an oversized bow adorning her platinum blonde wig. The bow dominates the look to the point where one hardly notices anything else about the outfit.

This is the kind of fashion faux pas that could be avoided by following Coco Chanel's old maxim on accessories: before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take at least one thing off. It looks like Moira forgot to do this before leaving the motel. The dress is Pucci and the bow is extra.

The Barbeque Dress

For a family barbeque, Moira wore this silver sheath dress with a fire red wig and fringed bib necklace. It is far from an appropriate outfit for the occasion, but that has never stopped the intrepid Moira from embarrassing herself.

Moira's style was inspired by Daphne Guinness, who played by her own sartorial rules and was very confident in expressing herself however she chose. While dressing courageously is always admirable, there is something to be said for understanding and following a dress code.

The Gold Dress

This dress is one of a few to deviate from Moira's black and white aesthetic. It's too bad that it's also one of her worst outfits. The gold color and draping of the fabric completely overwhelm Moira's frame, and not even her fingerless gloves, chic tortoiseshell sunglasses, or her natural blonde locks could help save the day.

This is one case where the dress was wearing Moira more than the other way around.

The Tie-Dye Dress

Moira has gone full Hot Topic mom in this tie-dye sheath dress and red hair. Well, from a distance, it looks like tie-dye. A closer look reveals that it has a subtle tropical scene print. Moira accessorizes the look with heeled combat boots and black gloves that reach past her elbows.

She's also wearing yet another statement necklace. This one has an orange fringe that complements her hair and the warm patches of her dress. That Moira considers this extra look to be casual daywear shows just out of touch she can be.

Jocelyn's Hair

Moira is known for her wig collection from her days as a soap opera actress. They all have names, and some of them don't get along. Moira's wigs have allowed her to reinvent herself continually.

One day Jocelyn took Moira out to the salon and brought her back with a "cookie-cutter" haircut that twinned hers. To Moira's credit, she was perceptive enough to understand that Jocelyn's hair looked good on Jocelyn, but that she needed a different fit.

The Bird's Nest Wig

This look has all the components for success: the pearl teardrop earrings and bib necklace under a ruffled collar add drama to an otherwise basic monochromatic outfit. The grey blazer is also a winner, as is the smoky eye and red lips.

But what is with that hair? Moira chose a wig that was probably meant to mimic the shape of her full collar but ended up looking more like a lion's mane or bird's nest. This is an exceptionally modern look to some; for others, it leaves much to be desired.

The Daisy Dress

This monstrosity of an outfit has a pin in the shape of a daisy on Moira's ruffled collar. Between the puffy shoulders, severe bobbed wig, and flared collars and cuffs, this ranks among the most unflattering of Moira's outfits and one of the few to make her look both dowdy and ridiculous. In true Moira fashion, the inappropriate-for-the-occasion outfit made her stand out from the other residents on screen. This particular ensemble looks more suitable to wear to a funeral than a Jazzagal rehearsal.

The Used Car Mullet

To get a discount on a used car, Moira and Johnny pretend to be regular citizens of Schitt's Creek instead of temporarily embarrassed millionaires. This involved scrapping their high-end clothing to look more humble.

David got it right when he took one look at his mother's mullet-style wig, shapeless black attire, and platform sandals and asked, "What are you wearing?" Unfortunately, the joke's on him as he is wearing the couture version of the same outfit -- which should tell you something about couture.

The Crowening Costume

Moira's big comeback vehicle is none other than The Crows Have Eyes III: The Crowening, an apocalyptic fantasy about mutant crows (or a timely allegory about prejudice, depending on who you ask). Moira plays the half-human, half-crow Dr. Clara Mandrake, and her role culminates with delivering a stirring monologue in front of a green screen in full costume: an abundance of black feathers, a spiky, feathery wig, and a prosthetic beak.

Moira's commitment to her craft is admirable, but the avian attire is her worst outfit in the series.
