Scary Movie is one of the most famous parody slasher films that was released in 2000. The initial movie was so successful that the production decided to make four more sequels which in the end resulted in international fame. The franchise is loved and worshiped by many but it has been a while since the last movie aired in 2013.
In order to spark a little bit of light on the memories of the iconic franchise, below there is a list of ten actors and actresses who starred in the movie that everyone has kind of forgotten about. Let's be honest besides Anna Faris there are not many actors that anyone can really name.
Lochlyn Munro
Lochlyn Munro was born on the 12th of February, 1966 in Lac La Hache, British Columbia, Canada. He was never intending to be an actor, instead, he was training to be a professional hockey player. Unfortunately, after a serious sports injury, his career in sports was over and his dream with it. Luckily Munro had other talents and very soon he turned his focus on becoming an actor. The actor was cast in the first Scary Movie released in 2000 as Greg who was part of the group of teenagers who killed a man by accident.
Christopher Masterson
Christopher Masterson is known by his role as Francis in the famous sitcom Malcolm in the Middle. The series lasted seven years so he was with the production fro 2000 to 2006. Just after the first season of the series was wrapped, Masterson got a part in the 2001 Scary Movie 2 where he played the role of Buddy Wilkerson which is a parody of Luke Sanderson from the movie The Haunting.
Kurt Fuller
In his 36 years of acting, Kurt Fuller has had some pretty amazing roles, his most prominent ones were the ones who kick-started his career. Ghostbusters 2 was released in 1989, in the movie he played Hardemeyer not much later in 1992 the movie Wayne's World was released where he played the character named Russell.
Fuller was cast in the original movie where he played the part of a wacky sheriff who was always seen as he was doing his wears poses in speedos. The character was as weird as the movie's plot.
Marlon Wayans
Often the fans of the franchise are associating the movies with the lead character Anna Faris and it happens often that they forget the rest of the epic characters. One of them is Marlon Wayans which he portrayed the character Shorty (the brother of Brenda Meeks), the actor appears in both Scary Movie and Scary Movie 2. After he wrapped up with the production of the franchise he continued with the "funny" work and starred in movies such as White Chicks, Little Man and Fifty Shades of Black.
Ashley Tisdale
Ashley Tisdale was a big surprise to be cast in the fifth and last Scary Movie as Jody who is a struggling musician and the wife of Dan Sanders. The Disney superstar is best known for her roles in the franchise High School Musical, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and the cartoon Phineas and Ferb where she lends her voice to Candace Flynn.
Molly Shannon
The actress Molly Shannon appears in the fourth part of Scary Movie as Marilyn and in the fifth part of the movie as Heather Daltry. In the fifth movie, she portrays a mid-30s Diva veteran dancer who unfortunately gets cut from the production and loses her mind over it.
The movie was making a parody of Black Swan and the actress had the chance to land a part in this segment.
Snoop Dogg
Snoop Dogg was cast for the 2013 Scary Movie 5 where he played a role as Ja' Marcus. The characteristics that Ja' Marcus has in the movie are very similar to how the musician is in real life as he is known for his preferences of cannabis and this is exactly what he does in the movie. Shocking!
Mac Miller
Mac Miller played the part as D'Andre who is friends with Ja' Marcus (Snoop Dogg) in the 2013 Scary Movie 5. The two friends are walking in the Humboldt County woods in California where they are in a desperate search of cannabis plants. As soon as they steal one they start hiding in a shady cabin in the woods. The rest is history!
Carmen Electra
Tara Leigh Patrick or as the world knows her Carmen Electra was cast for the first and fourth part of Scary Movie where she portrayed the role of Drew (in Scary Movie) and Holly (in Scary Movie 4). Drew Decker was a student who was a victim that dies in the movie.
Holly on the other side was the blind daughter of Henry Hale who was stabbed to death and the actress races into the forest for help but sadly gets lost.
Charlie Sheen
Charlie Sheen was a big part of the franchise as he appeared in the third, fourth and fifth parts of Scary Movie. He played the role of Tom Logan who is a widowed farmer that lives just outside of Washington, D.C where he lives with his brother George. In the movie, they discover a crop circle that says 'Attack Here' which causes the dogs to behave irrationally.
