Captain America: The Winter Soldier (7.7)

Though Scarlett Johansson made her superhero debut as Black Widow in Iron Man 2 and later in The Avengers, she returned for the 2014 Captain America sequel.

Picking up where The Avengers left off, The Winter Soldier has the titular character adjusting to modern life. This isn't easy, however, when an attack on S.H.I.E.L.D. sends the hero on a journey to expose a conspiracy.

Falcon and Black Widow tag along for the adventure.

Captain America: Civil War (7.8)

Not long after The Winter Soldier, Civil War was hitting the screens.

This 2016 superhero film sends the heroes into an all-out battle after Captain America and Iron Man find themselves settling on different sides of a debate over their future.

While Hawkeye, Falcon, Bucky, Ant-Man, and Scarlet Witch are teaming with Captain America, Vision, War Machine, Spider-Man, and Black Widow are sticking with Iron Man.

Isle Of Dogs (7.9)

The dogs of the futuristic Japanese Megasaki City are sent to live in a giant garbage-filled land known as Trash Island after its revealed that they're carrying diseases. Despite the mayor's insistence that this is the right move, 12-year-old orphan Atari decides to hijack a plane and fly to the island in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots.

The animated film featured big names including Jeff Goldblum, Bryan Cranston, Bill Murray, Yoko Ono, and Greta Gerwig. Scarlett Johansson was also among the cast, portraying a show dog named Nutmeg.

The Avengers (8.0)

After Loki gets ahold of the dangerous and powerful Tesseract cube, Nick Fury puts together a group of superheroes to take him down. This leads Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, and Black Widow into one giant battle on the streets of New York in an attempt to take down the God of Mischief.

Johansson, of course, played Black Widow in this hit. She reportedly earned somewhere between $4 and $6 million for her appearance in the film.

This 2013 sci-fi romance tells the tale of a lonely writer who lives in a technologically advanced future. After his wife leaves him, he decides to get back into the dating game. However, he is caught off-guard when the woman he falls for is his artificially intelligent virtual assistant, Samantha.

While Joaquin Phoenix takes on the leading role, Scarlett Johansson voices Samantha. Her convincing voice acting received a load of praise.

Jojo Rabbit (8.1)

Most recently, Scarlett Johansson took on a role in the satirical black comedy film, Jojo Rabbit. The movie tells of a Hitler Youth name Jojo who discovers that his mom is stowing away a young Jewish girl in the attic of their home. This has him reevaluating what he's been taught to believe with a little help from an imaginary version of Hitler.

While Roman Griffin Davis plays Jojo, Scarlett Johansson takes on the role of his single mother Rosie.

A Marriage Story (8.4)

Scarlett Johanson and Adam Driver star against each other in this 2019 comedy-drama.

The story tells of an actress and her stage director husband's failing marriage and the effects of their impending divorce on their creative lives. It definitely doesn't help that they live miles apart with Johansson's Nicole struggling to live in L.A., but Driver's Charlie thriving in New York City.

The sharp performances received a round of applause from critics.

The Prestige (8.5)

This period thriller, taking place in Edwardian London, tells the story of two magicians whose rivalry grows even stronger after one of them successfully completes a teleportation trick.

While the set of magicians is played by Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson takes on the role of Olivia Wenscombe. Olivia is the assistant and romantic flame of Jackman's Robert.

The film received high reviews for the imaginative events that were brought to life by the cast.

Avengers: Infinity War (8.5)

The third installment in the Avengers series had the gang teaming together to take down the most powerful villain yet: Thanos.

The warlord from Titan is on a mission to acquire all six Infinity Stones, which he hopes to use to wipe out the over-populated universe. The heroes hope to nab the stones before Thanos can in order to prevent this mass destruction from happening.

The film was praised for its edge-of-your-seat tension, giant action sequences, and cliff-hanger ending that had fans begging for the sequel film to come quickly.

Avengers: Endgame (8.5)

Topping off the list is the final installment in the Avengers series.

Avengers: Endgame has the heroes who are left on earth coming together for a second shot at Thanos. To reverse the destruction the villain has caused, they decide to travel back in time to reset the fate of the universe. However, this doesn't come without its necessary sacrifices, and Black Widow has to make a few of her own.

The 2019 film smashed box office records, raking in a crazy $2.7 billion dollars. Though this is the final film for the Avengers team as a whole, Black Widow is set to get her own solo film in 2020.
