King in Black: Wiccan and Hulking #1
Scarlet Witch's son Billy can't catch a break. Just months after fighting against the Coati, as his now-husband Hulkling became the King of Space in the events of Empyre, Wiccan will now have to battle against the King in Black's dark army during his own honeymoon. In what should be a moment of happiness and relaxation for the couple has turned into an all-out battle against Knull's forces.
Wiccan is the twin brother of Tommy, the Young Avenger known as Speed. Both characters are the sons of Scarlet Witch and Vision, who were originally created by Wanda. However, after Mephisto wiped them from reality, the heroes would later return as part of Marvel's teen superteam with completely new parents and childhoods. Wiccan would develop a romance with his fellow Young Avenger Hulkling, who's half-Kree and half-Skrull, which culminated in the pair getting married during the Empyre event.
King in Black: Wiccan and Hulking #1 by Tini Howard, Luciano Vecchio, and Jim Cheung will show the recently married couple going on their honeymoon now that they're done fighting the Coati in space. Things seem to finally be going the couple's way following their wedding in their most recent adventures, as the Shi'ar invite them to a beautiful, ritzy resort to relax on. Wiccan and Hulkling's much-deserved break - time to bask in the sun and have a few adult drinks - is immediately met with Knull's symbiote army interrupting them on the beach. While it's great to see that Wiccan and Hulking finally get some time away from the galaxy's biggest threats, it's fitting that even on their honeymoon, that cosmic craziness of the King in Black still manages to follow them. The pair can't seem to avoid having to suit up and fight when they least expect it.
